"This is a family owned company in business for generations and they take pride in not only knowing their product but also in their work. When I first called & talked to Denise she spent half an hour describing the product and referred me to a website that was incredibly helpful in making a decision on our roofing material and installer. <br /> Because of fires and wet or windy weather in Colorado the work was delayed from the original install date but it was well worth waiting for. Lianro took care of everything from an estimate that was fair and was not exceeded, getting the permit and inspection, tearing off & disposing of the old roof, the construction of a new roof line (thanks Bruce) and installing the new roof.  <br /> They had a dumpster brought out for disposing of all the trash and did a very nice job cleaning up around the perimeter of the house. The crew was courteous, professional and worked very hard to do a beautiful job.  <br /> Our neighbor decided to replace his roof at the same time and is also very happy with the product and their work. <br /> The VersaShield layed under the roof will keep our home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. and the roofing material used, Metro stone coated metal roof, lowered our home insurance rate by half and is top rated.   <br /> We are so very happy with Llanro Roofing and would highly recommend them. Thank you Llana, Denise, Bruce and Jimmy and his crew."

"My sales rep was very ambitious and helped with my initial claim with my insurance company. I liked that he took the initiative and helped me with an unfamiliar situation, so I went with him. The workers were amazing and put in a very long day after seeing my house was not up to code. After the old roof was taken off, I found that my front door would not open or close without difficulty and my caulking on my ceiling molding had separated on 3 walls. I pointed that out to the sales rep after his return and he was baffled as to why that happened and made several inquiries as to what happened, and then left. After the roofers added the wood and shingles, the front door would open and close with no difficulty, which was a good thing. The most disappointing thing was that he never checked back to ask or follow up on the problem that I had. I was also told that they had a huge magnet that they would run around my house that would pick up all the stray nails. A lot that I found got thrown out, but I kept finding nails, so I started saving them to show upon his return and I never seen him. Overall, they did do a great job with my roof and gutters, but not sure why I did not get a follow-up on my door not closing and opening without difficulty, or the caulking separating. I now have 2 other interior doors that I have a problem with, one is difficult to close and one will not close at all. Not sure if that is their responsibility or not. I said yes that I would hire the again, but I wish there was a Maybe box, because what if my front door did not correct itself on opening and closing? What do I do with the doors that have problems with closing?"

"Capitol Roofing did a great job replacing my roof from the start of the process to the finish. Their quote team was flexible about making appointments around my work schedule and they arrived for appointments on time or slightly early. The roof was ruined by hail, and Capitol Roofing even helped me deal with the insurance claims agent. Their familiarity with hail damage evidence and roofing best-practice standards resulted in a surprisingly smooth claims process. Everybody I worked with was friendly, cordial and professional, including the people who answer the phones in the office. The project supervisor stayed in close contact with me, and I felt like I could safely leave the work to him and not have to micro-manage. Capitol Roofing knows how to use technology and can be easily reached by email or phone (yes, they text!). There was a tree in the way of the project, and they also found someone to take care of that problem for me. Capitol Roofing carries the Cowboy Code of Ethics on the back of their business cards, and they sure lived up to it for me. <br />"

"The removing of the old doors went fairly quickly.  The setting of the new doors was very professional,  and a fantastic job.  The basement had a problem with a raised floor, so he had to level the opening.  He was very meticulous while doing this.  After he was done the door slide nice and smooth, and was plumb and true. <br> <br>After both doors were install they were trimmed out inside and out.  It looked fantastic.  During the removal and trim out, all debri was removed, floors swept, and vacuumed. <br> <br>We are very happy with the price of the doors and the quality of the installation.  I recommend them to anyone."

"Ernie Haas provided a very thorough examination of our roof which enabled us (after much back and forth with our roofer (DCF Contracting)) to ensure that all necessary and required repairs were made to our roof. Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Hillsdale, WY

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
