"I had my house exterior painted. Nothing unusual, a basic one story home. Jerry had very competitive rates to get the job done, were very prompt in replying to any questions I had. His guys were very efficient in prepping the area and then getting all the painting done. Every spec of surface to be painted was covered and it's been a few months since the job was done and all the paint is holding on like new. Absolutely no complaints and I'd highly recommend!"

"Attention to detail and prep work seemed pretty poor. The initial painting went seemingly to plan, but after they were done I noted: 1. Large bubbles all over the house 2. They didn't mask my back railing, which became covered in paint splatters 3. Didn't caulk around windows 4. Really rough job doing the trim (splotchy lines) 5. Didn't wash behind the rain barrels, then proceeded to paint over dirt. 6. Not much scraping of existing chipping paint 7. I expected the cracks in the existing siding to be less noticeable after caulking/prep work 8. Didn't mask the roof, there is now a white patch on the shingles from painting the gutters 9. Didn't move the trash can/rain barrels prior to painting, so is now pretty paint splattered. I asked if they needed to be moved too, but was told no. 10. Trampled some plants. I asked if they would be OK (I would have transplanted them!), but they are now pretty dead. This is pretty minor, but still annoying. I called them back (twice!) and they more or less fixed 1-6, but I guess I just expected a better experience."

"This was a deck re-stain 3 years after a complete exterior house/deck painting job, so we are repeat customers. As before, they provided solid advice, firm quote, used quality materials, workers showed up on time with COVID masks. Very nice work on both prep [power wash] and stain, two coats applied accurately, and nice job of cleanup. These folks do an excellent job, as I see fall/winter rain hitting the deck I am especially glad we had it done right."

"Hedlund Painting did an excellent job on our 100 year old craftsman house in Green Lake. Their price was reasonable and included 8 hours of carpentry for needed repairs, which was plenty. Scheduling the job was straightforward and they showed up early on the day they said they would start. The work crew was friendly and professional, and worked efficiently. At the end of each day they tidily stored their gear under a tarp in a neat pile in a corner of the yard. They estimated that the job would take two weeks, but ended up completing it in seven days, with no delays. They double coated the siding and trim and even the gutters. The final paint job looks great, with clean lines between different colors, and not a speck of paint on windows or ground. When finished they cleaned up after themselves well. The house looks great and we are entirely happy with their work. We would definitely hire them again, and recommend them without any reservation."

"Fast workers - not as detail-oriented as we needed for our hardwood floors and kitchen trim We hired Northwest Builders & Renovation to demolish a wall between two rooms, paint our LR, DR, kitchen, and a hallway. We also had them patch a section of wet lath & plaster, replace some baseboards, and hang a chandelier. (About $15k) They finished the majority of the work in 4 days - very fast! They were much less expensive, too, and we learned why later. They wanted to use laminate to finish (as the contract said) our hardwood floor patch from where the wall was. We have almost 100-year-old oak hardwood floors. When they said labor and materials are include in the bid, we should have asked which materials they planned to use. To finish a hardwood floor to them meant using laminate or engineered hardwood flooring, not real wood for hardwood flooring, AND to patch it in (leaving a line), not to weave it in as we wanted to blend it. Read between the lines to know the bid."
