Kevin Dulio has been involved in the landscape industry for over 20 years. He was interested in horticulture in high school and decided to make it his career. While studying horticulture at Delaware Valley College, he worked at two garden centers to increase his knowledge of plant material. After graduating in 2000 with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture & Environmental Design, he managed a garden center in Sussex County, New Jersey. After a few years, he then became a branch manager for a landscape management firm in Warren County, New Jersey. In 2006, Kevin decided it was time to take his years of knowledge and experience in landscape management and start Native Fields Landscaping, LLC. Since his background was in landscape design, he decided to focus his business design/build and lawn maintenance. As the housing market took a downward turn, he regrouped and focused on lawn maintenance in order to control the rising costs of running a business. After six years being in business, Native Fields Landscaping, LLC is now specializing in the maintenance and snow/ice management of HOA (Home Owner Associations) in Morris, Warren, Sussex and Passaic Counties New Jersey for over 2,500 townhome units.

"The firm leads with a reasonable design and installation service. Afterward the practice is a horrible experience. You will hate this company’s rip offs. To get add-on lights, the price is double. To get repairs, and I am talking about a nine month old installation, the company’s office person says outages are caused by landscapers and animals breaking the underground lines. So the company charges $500 for two workers to enter the property for 2 hours minimum @$125 per hour. In my case, one of three zones was completely out which I explained. They spent the first 10 minutes looking over the two good zones and five minutes later found the problem, a failed electric outlet. They were in and out in 15 minutes. Effective cost was $2000 per hour. I offered to pay $100 and then pay another $500 for them to come back for their annual maintenance. There answer was no, we will be happy to take this $500 and another $500 to do the service. Their contractual terms also disavows responsibility for consequential damage to the property and forces the customer to agree to pay thousands more if you pay late. These are not good or fair people. Before you buy, ask for references from 5 year old installations."

"Our patio was completely rebuilt with new pavers for $$,$$$. Almost immediately the pavers started to collapse. Initially they came out to do repairs, and kept saying this shouldn't be happening and seemed perplexed why this kept on occurring. It is now the 6th or 7th time in 2 years this has happened, and after repeated phone calls/emails....they WILL NOT respond. In my opinion....they're crooks! Save your money!! Any landscaping business with integrity would get to the bottom of this issue...instead of plopping a bandage on it. And just to be clear...our previous patio never had this issue."

"Very misled by this contractor, we spent $$$ on a project that pretty much needs to be redone. We used a Porcelain paver by MSI. Poly sand was used to grout the joints, which never had a chance to set up(cure) do to the fact that the concrete slab underneath, 1 has no drainage, 2 pitched towards our house foundation( a french drain should have been used), 3 a lot of loose pavers... some which were pulled up and were never bonded to the slab below...others are lose because the water has nowhere to go. We have had 3 other contractors come to look at our issues and all 3 brought it to our attention that the retaining wall that was installed was done improperly and could fail in the near future.....the 100' plus retaining wall was done with no drains or weeping holes. The patio issues were brought to the contractors attention upon completion of the job and we were told " I'm not going anywhere, and we will revisit the problem in the spring". Well spring came and so did summer ....no help or guidance was given, said contractor walked away. We would not recommend United Landscape Associates to anyone. This is a company that refuses to stand their word or by work that was done wrong from day one. Stay away from this company....took our money and ran."

"Extremely happy with the look and the craftsmanship of this job.Arthur, who is the owner, was a pleasure to work with and he and his crew did an excellent job. After we first met he came back with a color draft of what the completed project would look like and the end result looked just as great. His employees were there every day ,rain or shine, and their dedication and hard work was evident in the finished product. My son first used JBA Landscaping and we were impressed with their work and I'm glad we picked them for our patio installation."
