"I first reached out to Bob for a quote for a full roof replacement. After exploring options I decided to instead go with a solar installer, but they told me they don't do masonry work. I reached back out to Bob with an incredibly reduced scope of work which only included removing the peak of a chimney and replacing the house's soffit to add ventilation. He was still willing to work with me and treated me with respect throughout the process. Price felt a little high but it was expected since this was entirely ladder/steep roof work. I'm assuming bricks were tossed off the side of the house which explains how the chimney portion was done in less than a day, clean up was very satisfactory.
