Our “handyman" Juan was skilled and super knowledgable with the HUGE project he was thrown into. He was on time, efficient and just a joy to deal with! By himself, Juan cleaned up the prior demo area, properly sealed the shower, installed a new shower bench/curbs and repaired the wall…he did everything but the painting, which we took care of. "We used Empire to replace our carpet in the finished basement. The installers carpeted over tile at the entry way that was not supposed to be carpeted leaving a lip and incline in the floor. We had to have the carpet pulled up and tile removed. We also purchased the protection plan that covers accidents, tears, snags and unraveling. We have a 5 foot tear and multiple snags. I contacted Empire to have them repaired under our protection plan and the claim was denied. They want to charge me $600 for a repair that should be covered under the protection plan."
