"Julie Corley was the perfect interior designer to create a new design for our family room that gave a 50-year-old home a fresh, updated look. Her design expertise from years of experience was evident from the start. She helped us tear out old shelving and cabinetry to create a beautiful accent wall, as well facelift the old brick fireplace with beautifil stone veneer, and select new flooring throughout the downstairs. In addtion, she created a new living space in the family room with a unique furniture placement design that created a much more inviting and intimate space to enjoy with company. Her expertise with helping us select materials and colors ensured a beautifully blended look that we would never have been able to achieve on our own. In addition, all of Julie's contractors were experts in their craft and the workmanship was superior. The icing on the cake: Julie is a fun person to be around and fun to work with. "Hiring Jim Johnson / Texas Select Builders to remodel our kitchen was the best decision we could have made. Our remodel involved moving walls and columns, reconstructing counters, replacing countertops, sink and lighting, painting cabinets and installing tile. The project was completed on time and within budget without any surprises. What I loved was Jim’s ability to provide GREAT design advice and plenty of examples to help us fine tune our choices. He’s up front on honest and proved to be a phenomenal problem solver. His crew was friendly and courteous and his job foreman was wonderful as well. Jim was there for much of the process and was very communicative which made us feel very comfortable. We are so incredibly happy with end result! He turned our out-dated taupe, claustrophobic kitchen into the open, new and modern grey & white kitchen of our dreams. Saving like mad now so we can hire him to do the same for our master bath.
