"We just had our first lawn treatment with Rutland Turf. The technician, Matthew, was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He explained in detail what treatments he was going to put on the lawn. Matthew did a very thorough job making sure he treated all areas of our lawn. Rutland Turf has some very good equipment for their techs to use, and Matt was adept at using the ride-on lawn spreader/sprayer. We're very pleased with his work today! We have a small landscaping project that we'll be contacting Rutland about. After seeing the quality of their work today, we won't hesitate to have them give us a price for another project."

"They were actually coming today to do the lawn. We've done yearly contract so probably it was for the last 8 years with them for both pest control and lawn services. It's a service contract they charge and it's bundles, so depending, we also have termite service. Seven-set lawn care cost us $1470, pest control costs us $429 and that's for mice, ants and bees and the termite protection. We had that done at probably 6 years ago and every 3 years we renew the warranty. They come out and double check for termites and we renewed for $110 a year for that service. They come and check all the termite traps for activity. They do lawn and yard fertilization, liming and crab grass controls. There is also a late fall service for aeration. Some years we add spot feeding for more, if it's been a really dry year. Start with spring open up and fertilization, I think, 3 or 4 times and then the late fall service which is fertilization and line. Pest control is only outside. They're very responsive when I found a bee's nest. I've always been happy with the price because they bundled; any other service we looked up didn't bundle services."

"Jim carefully measured, assessed and costed out the project. He gave us two options so we could make a decision based on our budget and our strategy. He spent a long time here and was very diligent in ensuring he got it all. It all wilted within a week or two and died within a few weeks. He gave me pointers on how to address it in the future. One year later and we could not see any regrowth of poison ivy which is remarkable because we were infested with it prior to the treatment. We have been able to keep up with the occasional sprout so far. I recommend recommend Jim Byler very very much. He is a man of integrity, works extremely hard to achieve complete eradication of the areas agreed upon, and is very knowledgable about poison ivy and other noxious plants. <br />"

I really enjoy working outside in my own yard so when I do yard work for others it doesn't feel like work! I take alot of pride in making my yard not only look beautiful but also as a place my family and I can enjoy being outside. When I moved into my townhouse it had a good sized lot but the yard wasn't taken care of by the previous owners. I had to rent a rototiller and tear up the whole lawn. It was just crabgrass, roots, and this stalky type of grass. I treated the soil and used high quality grass seed and even though it took a season for it to fully grow in it was worth it. I have a 5 year old daughter so it's important to have a yard she can play in. My lawn is now a very soft type of grass called tall fescue. You can walk barefoot in it and it will leave an imprint of your foot. I did some mulching around the trees, used drainage stones around my deck for the high traffic areas as well as for the drainage of my daughters pool. We now have an outdoor space that we are proud of and I like to create that for others. I have quality battery operated equipment that is just as powerful as gas powered but very quiet. The work I do for others is a reflection of myself so I take it very seriously and enjoy it as well.
