"Of all the contractors that worked hard to remodel my kitchen, Mr. Jose Lopez of High Quality Sheetrock Repair, was my favorite. After the old counter-top and old back-splash tile was removed, Mr. Lopez removed the damaged drywall and replaced it. He carefully cut around the electrical receptacles and the plumbing supply lines to avoid leaving large gaps. He made sure that the drywall was straight so that the new counter-top will lay flush against the wall. He aligned the seams to provide a smooth surface on which to install the new tile back-splash. When told that the new tile may be glass tile, he returned with paint and painted the new drywall white to ensure consistent coloration of the translucent tile. He charged no extra fees for the painting work. The beautifully laid and finished kitchen counter-top and back-splash tile are a testament to Mr. Lopez's forethought, conscientious attitude and careful attention to detail."

"He did a beautiful job. Repaired Harvey damage so there is no sign in a townhouse we own."

"Pickup and delivery of our rugs made the whole process very convenient. Even ended up having one rug repaired, while also having it cleaned. Could not be happier with the results."

"Today's is the third job for which we contracted Pete Brandes, The Sheetrock Man. The first job was in 2008 to repair a ceiling damaged by water from an air conditioner. Pete matched the texturing of the surrounding ceiling. The second job, in 2015, was extensive work texturing the walls in four rooms and the ceiling in one. Pete expertly textured the walls to our custom specifications. Then, when he textured the ceiling, he matched the texturing of the ceilings in the adjacent rooms. Pete and a helper spent several days working on that 2015 project. The third job, finished today, was repair and texturing of a wall damaged by water. For each of the three jobs over the years, we have been very happy with the work, with the results, and with the price. Thank you, Pete. And thank you, Julian, Pete's current helper."

"Working with Silver Oaks was a very pleasant experience. I called to set up an inspection for an estimate. Mike was over the next day and provided a detailed estimate that evening. Mike was very helpful in explaining what the scope of work should be. The crew was on time. Alex and the crew were very courteous and careful not to cause any damage damage to roofing, shrubbery and lawn furniture. When they left for the day (two day job) their equipment neatly stowed in my backyard and without trash. I was impressed with the fact that Alex ensured all ran well and carefully inspected the work.
I delayed writing my review because I wanted to see that the paint was adhering and that I would not run across any undiscovered defects. I'm happy to say the paint job looks as good as the day it was completed and I have not run across any undiscovered problems.
I did not bid the work out. Time was a factor and I wanted someone with an excellent reputation for quality service on Angie's list and hopefully avoid any kind problems.
I am a happy camper!
