"He shared multiple ideas (very good ones) but we mutually decided it was a job I could best do myself for the budget I had.  He even went as far as to call the tool rental company and confirm they had what I needed and give me costs associated.  Had my budget allowed, I would have gladly worked with him. <br />"

"This is the sixteenth summer I have purchased flowers for my garden from Martins. The plants are beautiful all summer and I have many positive comments. The staff at Martins is friendly and helpful. All questions are answered in a professional manner. Would not purchase plants anywhere else! <br /> <br />This review is for the Martin's Garden Center in Rostraver, PA. This review is not for the one in Indiana. <br />"

"Courtney did a great job on both houses and the brick walkway. My only complaint is that when heavy rain prevented him from finishing the job at my house, I was told by the person who does his scheduling that he would not be returning to finish the job for another two weeks. Since we had to move a lot of stuff that we were still using for the season off of the porches and into temporary storage to get ready for the power washing, this was really inconvenient. Plus, there was no guarantee it wouldn't be raining again on my "rescheduled" date, which meant I could be bumped to the "back of the line" again. I asked if they could please finish up at my house before moving on to other job sites, and they did move my date up sooner, but not without making a bit of a stink about having to make phone calls to reschedule the other jobs they had planned to start that week."

"While employees were unable to make it in, we had enough employees on site to continue operations if we could keep the property cleared of snow. They did a wonderful job and are our new choice for snow removal and ice management."

"They built my patio and have done pavers too. He is part mason and part yard guy. He has a good artistic sense; he is very creative.. He has planted trees too. I couldn’t imagine using anyone else. They also mow my lawn, treat and condition it as well. They mulch and put down treatments so that everything grows in the spring. He has also snow plowed for me in the winder too. He is dependable and shows up. He definitely takes pride in his work. He has good equipment and good employees working for him. If there is ever an issue, he sends them right back and gives me personal attention. He is reasonably priced as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any friends and family."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Huntingdon, PA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
