Customers say: Quick response

"My driveway and (240') sidewalk was a large job, as well as being technically complex. My house is situated on a hill above the road, and I needed to reduce the slope of the driveway to make it safe for my daughter (who uses a wheelchair). Also, my van would scrape each time we drove across the gutter that divides the driveway from the road. Final Aspect is a small crew, but outstanding in their profession. They visited multiple times and ensured they had a good plan and that I understood all aspects of the job. They planned the work to be flexible with other contractors which I scheduled simultaneously to work in my front yard. They communicated well with my wife and I, and made accommodations to the order of work so that my wife had the least interruptions to her schedule (due to the driveway removal, grading and paving). They were also very kind and friendly with my young kids who were curious about the construction work being performed. We became quite friendly with them during the course of this project. The final product looks outstanding and is safe for my daughter's wheelchair and is pitched perfectly so my van smoothly crosses the gutter. There is no doubt that I would hire Final Aspect for another concrete job!!"

"The driveway replaced is in an older neighborhood, in a confined area, and required a different approach due to code. The replacement required a reconfiguration. Final Aspect went above and beyond to create a beautiful driveway out of concrete. I have never seen anyone work this hard. They have great pride in their work. They were easy to communicate with, timely and professional. The quality of work done is exceptional. I recommend them without hesitation."

"<p>Removal of the section of the back patio to be replaced required saw cutting of the concrete and providing temporary support of the patio roof above the supports where the concrete was to be replaced.  The work crew and I discussed the saw cutting prior to the work, and accomplished it as I desired.  The temporary support of the patio roof was accomplished with minimal impact on the existing patio roof support structure.  Breaking up of the existing concrete to be replaced was accomplished using a jackhammer and sledge hammers.  The crew was able to provide the existing patio dimensions even though access was somewhat difficult due to the bushes that had grown up since the original patio placement.  A crushed rock base was placed prior to the concrete placement.  A motorized concrete "hauler" was used to transport the concrete from the delivery truck to the back patio.  That worked effectively even though some awkward maneuvering of the hauler was required.  An additional 8 to 10 inches of concrete was placed beneath the spots where the patio roof supports were to be reinstalled.</p> <p>The existing driveway concrete was broken up for removal mostly by jackhammer, but with some sledge hammer use.  The new driveway was formed to the same dimensions as the original, and with minimal impact on the existing lawn and sprinkler systems.  I was easily able to replace removed sod and sprinklers.  A crushed rock base was placed prior to concrete placement.  The new concrete was placed in 3 segments--the driveway left side, the driveway right side and the sidewalk/street approach. The work crew was knowledgeable in the special requirements of the city of Idaho Falls for the sidewalk and street approach.  There were no difficulties with the inspection required.</p> <p>The contractor was thorough in removal and disposal of all construction debris.  The final concrete surface finish has a slight repetitive "swirl" that we consider attractive.  The work crew was on site and working every day and were punctual.  I did provide access to a bathroom in our basement for their use.  They were careful in their use.  The construction time for back patio and driveway was about 2 weeks.  Communication with the contractor and the work crew was cordial and useful.  </p> <p>Drive by and inspect our new driveway.</p>"

"Very professional rep came out and did an inspection before giving us the bid. He completed the paper work for energy rebates for gas company and electric company and 2010 US taxes. We will submit these. Crew showed up on time, very clean work. Crew advised us of some minor seepage around piping going through the attic. Our home inspectors did not even see this. Fixing this will save a lot of grief in the future."

"I wanted to create an open kitchen/space in my old condo unit. Travis was professional and responsive- he was flexible with me as I opted to do the painting myself and his team was helpful in the process. His guys worked clean and fast, the job was completed start to finish in one month. There are a few things (as it's been almost four months since) that could be adjusted/touched up but I am overall happy with the outcome."

"The woman in the office that I made the appointment with was very professional and friendly. She quickly made an appointment for the following day. The technician Paul was right on time and called to confirm he was coming. He was very knowledgeable and educated us on our hot tub. He was very friendly with my family. We had our old hot tub up and running very quickly and professionally. The service was a good value and less than we expected to pay. Paul’s service was amazing and we would definitely use Precision pools again. I feel like he was honest and thorough and didn’t try to fix things or sell us things we didn’t need."

FAQs for concrete flatwork repair & resurface projects in Idaho Falls, ID

When evaluating whether patching can address your concrete blemishes, it’s important to assess the extent of the damage. Minor issues such as small cracks or chipped areas may be effectively repaired with patching techniques that restore the surface’s appearance. However, if you notice widespread deterioration, significant cracks, or structural weakening, resurfacing is recommended as a more durable, long‑term solution. A thorough evaluation by a concrete specialist can help determine the best course of action for restoring your concrete to its optimal condition.

The optimal time to resurface your concrete driveway is late spring. This period benefits from warm temperatures and softened ground conditions following winter’s freeze‑thaw cycles, ensuring that the new overlay bonds securely and matures to a durable finish. Resurfacing at this time also enhances your property's safety and curb appeal. Engage a concrete professional to schedule your project during this ideal season.
