"Nate and his crew did an amazing job. They are professional and very well educated in their field of work. We hired them to put in a sprinkler system for grass and flower beds. They overhauled our backyard too. This included taking out old sad grass, bringing in 2 loads of soil, leveling the ground, dealing with the roots of 2 huge maple trees, putting in edging and laying sod. We could not be happier with the results. Nate responds quickly to questions. Their price was also better than 2 other companies. The quality of materials used and workmanship was worth every penny. We would recommend them in a heartbeat!!"

"This is a combination of a 5 star and a 1 star review for Tree Pros, I figure that averages out to about a 3 star rating - you can decide for yourself. TLDR: They did a great job doing the work they showed up for, but never actually finished the job and ghosted us. THE GOOD: I hired Tree Pros to take down two large Tree of Heavens (Ailanthus), remove a grove of Ailanthus, trim two trees overhanging the house, and trim and treat an Ash tree. One of the Ailathus was very close to the house (overhanging it quite a bit), the other was near the street. They did an excellent job removing both of them. They also did a great job trimming all trees and (I assume) a good job treating the Ash. They treated the Ailanthus stumps with Tordon to stop them from sprouting up more, which worked well. They seemed experienced dealing with Ailanthus... which if you've ever dealt with them, they are a HUGE pain to get rid of (see Tree of ****). Tree Pros' quote was reasonable compared to others I got and they were responsive when scheduling the job. We did run into a bump about a week out from our scheduled date when I asked the city (Englewood) to confirm Tree Pros' insurance status. Tree Pros was not registered with Englewood, and an arborist/company must be to do business within city limits. I informed Tree Pros of the issue and they had it worked out within a couple days and we still hit our target date. Overall, no big complaints here. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they did a good job. THE LESS GOOD: This is where the 1 star review comes in. Part of the quote I received from Tree Pros was to subsequently have the tree stumps ground down- we needed to wait 4-6 weeks to let the Tordon effectively kill the Ailanthus stumps, and they said they'd reach back out to schedule an appointment for stump grinding. They originally cut the trees down on 6/22/2022 and 6/23/2022. Come 8/6/2022 (just over 6 weeks), I hadn't heard anything back from them about scheduling the stump grinding, so I reached out. They emailed me back 2 days later stating they would schedule it. I reached back out August 19 (two weeks later) requesting a status. They got back to me August 20th saying they would schedule it. We called and left a voicemail. No response. Eventually, I gave up and hired a different company to do it, because it seems like Tree Pros doesn't care to finish up the job. That being said, I did not pay up front for the stump grinding, so I'm not out any money on them ghosting me, just a bit of added frustration to an otherwise pretty good experience. So, take my experience for what you will, but I personally don't think it reflects well on a company when they bail on the last part of a job. Given this interaction, I would not hire them again and will not be using them for recurring treatments on my Ash tree or to plant a new tree where one was removed."

"Great! Services were performed on schedule, signs posted alerting neighborhood children to stay off the lawn, and a follow-up treatment was done at no cost when a couple of thistles appeared in the treated area. Great experience!"

"They are great, I like them. They are on time, and they made my lawn look really good. They didn't do anything special for me, I have dogs, and they accommodate my dogs, so that is special.  They are pretty expensive."

"They came out two or three weeks after I had initially called because it was right during their heavy part of the season where they were laying sods so they could not come out as quickly as I would have liked, but they came out quickly as they could. They handled the quote process professionally. We have not used them before. This was the first time off Angie’s list’s recommendation, but we did not use them. They were there when they said they were going to be."

"Dave responded quickly to our inquiry. He ended up having a job in our part of town on an earlier date than we had scheduled so he came by, gave nus a very reasonable estimate, and completed the work on a Sunday!They removed well established lilac bushes, wild rose bushes, and volunteer elm trees. Cleared all foliage above ground and dug up smaller root systems.Both Dave and his co-worker were very respectful of our property and took great care in cleaning up all work areas and making sure our sidewalks were clean. We also had some other yard debris that we were going to need to haul away and Dave offered to take it for the price he had already quoted to us.Dave then put us in touch with a stump grinding service that was available in the next two days. We had all of the work we wanted done completed within less than a week of my inquiries for estimates.Thank you Dave!"

"The work went great. The crew was punctual, quite personable, very professional, and did a GREAT job. They asked before using the driveway to stage branches for chipping, They reviewed the work order with us before any activity was started to make sure we were all on the same page. As work progressed they checked if we were satisfied with the results."

"This was one of the best lawn sprinkler system experiences I have had in the 16 years I have been in my home. The team of 2 technicians arrived on time after calling to let me know they were on their way. They examined all of the zones and repaired or adjusted a number of sprinkler heads. They took their time, listened to my input about past dry areas of the lawn, made suggestions and kept me informed of every step of the process and did not do any work before explaining what they wanted to do and how much it would cost to do the work. They were fast, efficient, thorough, professional, and the price was very fair for the amount of work done. I plan on using Dean's again for all of my sprinkler system needs."
