Customers say: Super punctual

"We have worked with Bobby at DeMilo Bros for multiple outdoor projects over the years. Every time we have Bobby out, we know the work will be done on schedule, with consistent communication, at a fair price and with great craftmanship. He doesn't skip any corners, thinks about all the drainage, earth-moving and other specialized details that may evade a lay-person, and leaves a job only once you're happy and satisfied (often times leaving the space looking 10x better than when he started). His attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot and collaborate, and quality of work are top-notch. And all his guys are respectful and kind. 10/10 recommend. "

"Matt Clark, owner of New England Hardscapes and Landscapes is among the most honest, diligent, creative, reliable and friendly contractors I've ever hired. Matt has a creative eye and only does work with the highest quality. He helped me design and then install terracing in my backyard. I could not have asked for a better outcome. The workmanship is outstanding and of the highest quality and value. I 100% recommend Matt to anyone looking for an honest and talented artisan. "

"Tommy went above-and-beyond to repair the edge course of pavers on my back patio that were coming loose. Some things I appreciated: First, he took the time to remove the edge pavers and clean off all the old construction adhesive (which is difficult and tedious work!). He poured a formed concrete foundation to create a superior longer-lasting foundation for the edge pavers where foot traffic would be the highest and he also applied a hidden layer of concrete under all the other cantilevered edge pavers to prevent future loosening. He reset the pavers in mortar instead of using construction adhesive (which is a superior technique) and meticulously fill all the gaps with polymeric sand. Pricing was very reasonable and great value for the level of detail and craftmanship I received. The end product looks perfect and will last a long time. Tommy is professional is highly experienced (15 years as of 2026) and takes pride in his workmanship. I would definately recommend him. "

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Indian Trail, NC

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
