"<p>The power washing, minor repairs, painting of facia, trim, and garage doors went well, as well as the entire home painting. Very nice job all the way around. There was some minor paint splatter or drips on some of the plants and pavers, but their final clean up took care of all of this sufficiently. </p> <p>Our difficulty came when a minor rotted trim board on the back facia extended through the stucco and had been leaking behind the stucco. I knew I was going to have some rotted wood behind the stucco under the small hole, but unfortunately, it extended a long ways across the back of the house, far more extensive than planned or was in our budget. This was original contractor deficiency in building, not properly sealing joints between the stucco. Aaron and his carpenter Robert were very explanatory as they continued to open up the back of the house, as I instructed them to do so, so we could fix it right. They eventually stopped and suggested I contact my insurance agent at Farmers, who told me it would not be covered, but that I might try the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA). TWIA officials were very cordial and contracted with an adjuster, who came out within 4 days to do a complete inspection and turn in his report. Unfortunately, I was completely denied, because it was not a one-time event, but happened over many years (I bought the home 3 years ago and it is 11 years old). </p> <p>Aaron gave me what I believe was a fair price, although it doubled my initial outlay for painting only, and we are very satisfied with the workmanship and look of the finished project.</p> <p>Ultimately, I would hire S&S again to do more work for me, because the price seemed fair and the workmanship and professionalism of the team was good.</p>"
