"These guys are great! I would hire them again any time for more work on a patio, or any landscaping needs. We wanted to install a small patio under our deck from our walkout basement. We thought we would get just a small concrete pad, so I called around to several places. Most of them did not call me back, or said the job was too small. Our real estate agent who sold us the house several years ago suggested I contact Patios and More to see about a paver patio. Mike Cordes got back to me almost immediately. He quickly scheduled a time to come out and see what we our space looked like. We liked what he had to say about building a new patio using pavers instead of poured concrete. He developed a plan in about a week along with a cost proposal. He came back out to our house to show us the plan. We liked it and signed the contract. He put us in their schedule for about 6-8 weeks later, and said it would take about three days to complete the job. Instead, they were here in about three weeks and worked a couple of long days to complete the job in only two days! We are quite happy with the final patio. They did a tremendous job. Some key take-aways about this company: - Their cost was quite reasonable for the quality of the final patio. - They are reliable - they show up when they say they will and do what they say they will do. - They did everything we agreed to in the contract with no questions and no changes, and actually went beyond our expectations. - We were particularly impressed with their attention to cleaning up and repairing the lawn. This repair was part of the original contract since they knew they would have to drive a loader across the existing lawn. They repaired everything with high-quality sod so it looks even better than the original lawn. - The entire crew was friendly, professional, and really knew what they were doing. They all seemed happy to answer questions we had as the job proceeded. - They are just a great group of people. We most highly recommend them."

"Quick response to our inquiry; punctual for the appointments and to begin the project. Very professional and engaging. Al offered several great ideas and matched our project cost to our budget. Plan was to cut down  all the weed growth on our cliff of a hill, spray everything with weed killer, cover the whole area with dormant seeded crown vetch which would germinate with the spring thaw and retake the hill with a solid ground cover. Unfortunately there is a crown vetch shortage so we are paused after phase 1. We will resume the project in the spring when hopefully the seed product is available.

Existing steps and patio were demolished and debris hauled away; patio walls that were secured by adhesive were installed; pavers over a large patio area were placed; and a series of 14 steps consisting of 300pound steps approximately 18x48x6 were set into place to the new patio. All of this work was done on time, the crew worked for 6 weeks, five days a week to completion. They worked tirelessly and were professionals that did meticulous work and should be proud of the product they produce. From beginning to completion, the people were professionals and great communicators in describing the process for a successful landscape project."

Chris, the owner, reviewed my project needs, suggested block style and color, described the process in detail and provided an estimate.  To ensure I would be satisfied with the color choice, he directed me to another project he completed in my area where the same block was used.  The selection was perfect and I hired Artistic Landscapes. 

The crew arrived on time and completed the project as planned. Chris was on site throughout the project to answer any questions I might have and to ensure all was on track.  The effort entailed removal of the existing flagstone wall, digging and setting a base, and removal of left-over flagstone and soil. They also had to accommodate my gutter drainpipe, and I was impressed with their solution. The team was professional, well organized and efficient.

"I'm long overdue to write this review, but we hired King Scapes last summer to complete an extensive project to replace a rotten timber retaining wall, replace it with stone, and build a new stone patio with fire pit in our back yard. Even before that, we had met with Don to discuss our broader vision for our yard and he created a three-phase plan (this was phase two) that we could complete as it made logistic and financial sense for us. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and the quality of work that was completed. They always kept us up to date on what was happening and asked us whenever a decision needed to be made. This ensured we were happy with the finished product. The project was burdened by lousy weather, and they never complained nor did they cut corners to get the job done faster. The work wasn't cheap but that's the nature of the project we embarked upon. "My job was actually to have a stamped concrete patio installed. Overall, they did an awesome job! They were able to complete the job about a week prior to what they'd estimated, they arrived when they said they would, and completed the job within the time they said. They were very careful about placing plastic on the driveway and took care in ensuring they did as a little invasion to the area as possible. They were professional, friendly and easy to work with, and the finished product is absolutely beautiful. I LOVE IT! Every time I walk out and see it I love it more!
