"Jorge returned our initial call for estimate the same day and was able to come out for estimate within two days. He fit us in for the actual job of replacing old control valve, and set up old sprinklers around the yard. He found the Old main controller unit was bad and came back that evening to Replace it. While he was leaving he heard water running out front from main line to back yard. The pipe had burst off and he offered to fix it. For no charge. Jorge was very friendly, responsible and knew exactly what he was doing. We would definitely recommend him and his crew and would have them back any time. Thank you Jorge!"

"Day of estimate, Bob showed up within the window of time discussed; brought a collaborator with him. They had to assess how to get the tree out - either going up the hill to my street or through a neighbor's property down the hill to a street below. The latter option had the advantage of gravity, but there's always a risk in carrying loads of debris across a neighbor's property. My neighbor agreed to that route. They gave me an estimate of time and cost based on an estimation of a full work-day. We bargained a bit and set the day/price. <br /> Day of work - the two of them brought a third person and finished the job in half a workday (no discount for that since it was a fixed bid). They traversed my neighbor's property, cleaned up after themselves, were efficient and did the job well ! Bottom line, they got the job done quickly and efficiently. They were not the lowest bidder but the element of 'quick, efficient, and well done' has value to me. <br />"

"We have never seen such quality work.  Our retaining wall holds up a steep hillside.  Two prior retaining walls had failed.  I know the retaining wall that LEBEC designed and constructed will never fail.   LEBEC designed and built a special keyway retaining wall (like a keel on a boat).  The wall was reinforced with 5/8 inch thick rebar that was completely tied together and that also had "J bars".  They also used a special wicking type material on the back side of the wall to carry water away from the wall.  They also used perforated pipe wrapped in filter fabric and 3/8 crushed drain rock behind the wall.  I have never seen such excellent construction, even on very large construction projects.  Armando was the supervisor, and he was working on the project the entire time.  Armando has 30 years of experience and it showed.  Everything was done in a smart and efficient way.  Armando and his crew had to drive a very long way in Bay Area traffic to get to our home but they still arrived early and worked hard all day long. Armando is bilingual so it was very easy to communicate with him.  Armando and his crew became our friends and we were happy to see them come each day.  They would always leave our home and yard neat and clean when they left each day.  We were so happy with their work that we have signed a second contract with LEBEC for a second retaining wall. <br />"
