He walked me through the process, told me where to find more info on youTube, how to fold the rug and pack it up for shipping (from MA to FLA). Martin arranged for FedX to pick up the rug the next day. The rug arrived at Martin's place a few days later and he contacted me as soon as he received and gave me updates on progress. "The first time I called the person who answered the phone only said hello, so I had to ask if I had the right company.  He scheduled me an appointment right away and quoted me a price of $125 as an estimate.  I had to ask for details, like if I had to move furniture and how long would it take.  He offered no details unless I asked a specific  question.   I had to call a few days later and change the date, and they were very accommodating.  Plus the second time I called they actually answered with the company name.  The second call was a lot better then the first.  Gave a few more details.   They were late showing up but they called and stated they would be an hour late.  The 2 men who came were great.  We moved about 95% of the furniture out of the rooms they were cleaning.  It took them a little over 2 hours to clean (very dirty carpets that were 18 years old and had never been cleaned).  After they were done our carpets looked amazing.  They looked brand new.  We were so impressed.  Before they cleaned them we actually thought we would need to buy new carpet.  Now they looked brand new again.  The guys told us it would take 4-6 hours to dry.  They did such a great job, and it took lots of water, it actually took 2 days to dry.  We put half the furniture back, but on plastic.  They also put a treatment down to keep them from getting dirty again, that is why the price was higher than the original quote.  <br>I would recommend this company to anyone who needs carpets cleaned.  I would recommend you get a morning appointment.  Ours wasn't until 5:00pm.  They did move the furniture we left on the carpet and even put plastic under it, so you don't necessarily need to move all the furniture out. "

"When I called to get an estimate and set a time for the service Marty was able to give me a estimate from the description of the work with the approximate room measurement I provided. On the day of our appointment hey called to make sure it was alright to arrive 40 minutes early. The cleaning went very well, they were prompt, courteous, friendly, and hard working. We have a light colored carpet in the living room and hallway and there were several bad dark stains that we had tried to get up with over-the-counter products with no success. Every one of the stains was removed during their cleaning. Throughout the process they asked for feedback on the results to make sure we were satisfied and the actual cost was $50.00 less than what was quoted on the phone. "I started using Connie's White Glove Cleaning a few years ago. She came out and gave me a free estimate for the first cleaning which is generally more expensive (to clean up your past grime crime!). After the first cleaning, she gave me a cost for subsequent cleanings. She's very flexible about whether they come weekly, biweekly, monthly etc. Because they are based in Iowa City and I am in West Branch I do have to pay for their transportation which makes it a little more expensive than I'd like for the work that they do. Also one of the girls I believe is a smoker which leaves a slight odor (but it's gone within a few hours). Small negatives, there are so many positives, let me list them. I sometimes have to cancel when I travel for business. She is always very flexible in cancelling or helping me schedule a different time. The girls come at roughly the same time every 2 weeks. They have never broken or damaged anything. We have never discovered anything "missing". They are always polite and professional. They bring all their own cleaning supplies so I don't have to worry about anything. They return phone calls in a timely manner every time. I noticed their vacuum cleaner does a better job than mine. It leaves my carpet fluffier. They do a really nice job. I've used this service for a few years now and I'm very satisfied."

"Ken Alberts is great to work with! He is flexible for my schedule and does a great job! Ken has been in business for 20+ years and he is still cleaning carpets, he has some younger guy help but he will still be there.  I've had Ken clean my carpet a number of different times and he has done terrific work! If you want that job done quick or if you don't want to spend any money call Randys or any of the other knuckle heads in town.  If you want the job done properly call Ken, you will pay a little more but it's worth it in the end! <br />"
