"I needed a landscaper because my lawn was a mess (more weeds and moss than grass, it seemed), and water was seeping into the basement because of improper gutter drainage and soil grading. I hired M&L because the quote was reasonably priced, and Leo was responsive, understanding and cooperative as my landscaping project evolved. The job he ended up doing included building a trench for the gutter downflow, re-grading the entire lawn, creating flowerbeds, installing a fence, doing concrete work (to keep that critter out!), and paving a small section of the yard to hold trash and recycling bins. Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. Decided to have the damaged stair replaced with a limestone step and he came back a few days later to do the work. "Tomas was excellent! He did an incredible job and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the work he did. He helped us demo planters and install pavers on our driveway and patio. He ran into an extra problem that we weren't expecting with slabs of concrete under the pavers but he was upfront and told us he would have to take additional time he hasn't budgeted into the initial estimate and the demo would cost more. He was professional and his initial quote was the most competitive to begin with, we agreed to a higher cost for the additional labor and he came through with great quality work that we love. We would definitely book his crew again for future projects!"

"Perfect! The removal of the pre-existing concrete patio took and entire day of hard work with some heavy equipment and lots of muscle. Once the old concrete was removed and disposed of, the site was excavated to prepare the underlying base of crushed stone and sand for the pavers. The paver installation went well, but required last minute cutting into small pieces to fit some difficult spots (around the cellar hatchway). Everything looks beautiful compared to the older poured concrete. We're totally satisfied with the project and the team who did the work!"

"Mark did the best cleanup I've ever seen.  He got all of the leaves and trash out of my yard, and in addition, clipped all of my out  of control bushes and they looked great!  He also put mulch down in a section of my yard which really needed something.  My yard was so clean -- nothing left behind!  One of my neighbors said it all looked so neat.  This is by far  the best cleanup I've ever had.  He will also handle my mowing, etc., this summer. He's a real find!
