"After another lawn treatment firm managed to gradually kill our lawn we found One Step to replace them. One Step slowly brought our Lawn back. Not perfect yet but so much better. One Step also worked with us. First lawn care firm that we have consistently recommended. BUT as of today we are so sad. They have sold out to the firm that damaged our lawn several years back. We have already paid for the season. So we are stuck to finish this season, I wish One Step would have been up front that they were selling out. Unprofessional. So sad."

"My lawn looks great. They always leave a detailed report of lawn treatments and lawn care advice. They are easy to contact by phone for any questions. They always put up small signs to comply with exposure law. I have used their service for 3 years, and have renewed the contract for next year."

"The crew was friendly and worked diligently with great attention to detail. Did an exceptional job of collecting and disposing of the leaves and downed branches from the lawn and beds. Edged and weeded planting beds and spread mulch. The yard went from a real mess to beautiful in two days."

"They worked all day removing the thatch and then carefully raked and seeded the lawn.It has since grown and will look fine in the Spring. Hard workers and very professional. No cussing or yelling. Did the job right the first time. The owner came by after they were finished to check out their work. Very professional We will have them back in the Spring to apply weed killer and fertilizer."

"My property has a pool and some pavered areas including a fire pit and I was seeking a service that would provide a manicured look around these areas and I didn't want any grass in the pool (smiles). <br /> I have a great relationship with Valerie who is my primary contact with Grass Masters. She is very friendly and customer-centric. As an example, I requested the black mulch for the first project. When I got home, the mulch project had been completed, but it was not the color I had requested. When I called Valerie she advised me that the quality of the black mulch was not up to standard and there had been complaints, so she made the switch. I appreciated that the project was completed on time and that she was looking out for my best interest, but we both agreed that going forward if there were to be any change in the project detail, that she would contact me first. By the way, the mulch she selected worked just fine. <br /> I rate service providers not just on the absence of issues, but on how well the provider responds to any issues or special needs that may arise. <br /> I rate Grass Masters as an A in part because of the manner in which issues are handled. As an example, when my insurance company wanted to take pictures of the property, I was not scheduled to have the lawn cut for a few days. However, as a courtesy to me, Scott (the owner), came to personally cut my lawn after hours so that my property would look its best for the photographer. <br /> Another example of addressing issues involves a Tiki lantern that my son installed. He noticed the damage to it after the lawn had been mowed. We advised Grass Masters about our observation. The next time they mowed, the lamp was replaced. <br /> I am anticipating that the quality of service will remain the same going forward. If the pricing remains the same, I intend to continue my relationship with Grass Masters next season. <br /> <br /> <br />"
