"What a tremendous experience with a tremendous company! We needed a new roof but wanted to wait until this spring to have it installed. We had seen a BUCCOs truck in a nearby street and decided to check them out! All it took was one phone call to realize that this was a truly first class company-- PROFESSIONAL in all caps deserved! Any question or concern was immediately addressed. Even on weekends! WHO does that?! Our install date was right on schedule! The crew of installers were expert, hard working and polite. When our bay window roof portions proved tricky, Mike decided to bring in a specialty team to complete that part of the installation. The roof & new skylight look great! This company cared for our home and property as if it were their own. Not a single hitch-- not a single negative. How often does that happen?! WOW!"

"I called and left a message with Sacramento Contracting when I noticed my roof seemed a little soft between the trusses. Dean returned my call within an hour. Upon hearing my description of the problem and that the roof was only 15 – 20 years old, Dean suspected this was a case of thin sheeting and that likely it was ok. He said he would come out and take a look later in the day. I was not able to be there at the time, but Dean still came out and then called me later that evening. He reported that thin sheeting was the cause for the issue, and that the shingles were still in good condition. He explained that a lot of homes had this type of sheeting and that this roof had a number of good years of life yet. While performing his inspection, Dean also resealed some flashing along the house and around the chimney. Overall his recommendation was that no repairs were necessary as the roof was in good shape. I found Sacramento Contracting to be prompt, honest, and professional. They took the time to listen to and answer all of my questions. While I did not need a new roof now, I will definitely call them when that time does come."

"The crew was punctual, professional, courteous and always working - no fooling around on the job.  They arrived at 7:00 a.m. and began their work immediately, and left in the afternoon around 4 or 5:00 p.m.  This was a large job and this 4 man crew completed it in 6 days of steady work.  They cleaned the area every day before they left for the day.  I have not found any stray nails or debris.  These guys are professional and possess the skills needed for a quality job.  I can only praise them. <br />"

His crew came out and had the entire job done in three days. They did a great job and a great clean-up. Everyone was polite and professional."

"The work mostly went smoothly. The solar panels are fantastic and I'd recommend them to anyone who has an unshaded, south-facing unshaded roof. However, there were two issues. 1. A worker tossed a cigarette butt off the roof. It landed on the neighbor's patio furniture, burning it. Scalo paid for a replacement, but they shouldn't have been smoking on our property in the first place without asking, and they certainly shouldn't have been careless with disposal of their waste. 2. Part of the job involved repainting a small, metal portion of the roof. The first time they did the job, the new paint peeled immediately. They came back at our request, scraped off the old paint, and repainted it. This looked okay for about 2.5 years, after which point it started peeling again. 3. Also after about 2.5 years, a shingle fell off. I called and asked for them to replace the shingle and repaint the metal roof under the warranty. They agreed. Unfortunately, they did a poor job; they didn't remove the old paint, so the roof looks very bumpy. Worse, they sent me a bill for the painting! They claim it was not covered under the warranty. Reading the warranty, I can see how this is a reasonable interpretation of the text, but they should have told me it would not be covered and given me an estimate before proceeding. Because the conversation was about a warranty repair, I expected it to be covered under the warranty."

Andrew was extremely knowledgeable of the product and created a spectacular design and assisted w/ the financing of my project. He was always available to answer all questions. The Project Manager Anthony communicated daily with project updates and was extremely responsive to questions and addressed all concerns in a timely manner. The workers were exceptional as they always arrived early and worked late to ensure completion of the work. Really appreciated their attention to detail! I highly recommend this company!"
