Long Distance Moving & Storage. Household, Commercial, International, Corporate services available. Our Mission is To exceed expectations on every move. We live this day in and day out. Our service is top notch and fully efficient. Our trucks are perfectly equipped for moving with Pads, dollies, Plastic and much more. We provide Long Distance Moves across the entire country, directly from our West Coast HUBS located in AZ, CA, OR and WA. Or, we team with our partner companies to complete moves together. We are proud to provide a service that no other company offers; Dedicated Trucks. This means that your belongings are loaded on the truck and not combined with anyone else’s items (from/to west coast only). They are not transferred to other trucks or facilities in route which causes damage and loss of items (typical with van lines). We have a set loading day and unloading day. This is by far the safest way to ship. Our interstate rates are per 24ft moving van that holds up to 8,500lbs or 1400CuFt. Some customers require one truck and some require more. One truck holds the average 1800SqFt.

We hire military heroes first, and our experienced crews are highly trained in handling your most delicate possessions. We are experienced packers, loaders and unloaders but we do not transport. We make your move quicker, easier and extremely cost efficient. You get the truck we load it and unload it whenever you want on your crazy schedule. By hiring your own labor, and arranging transport separate, you could save thousands off your moving quote while guaranteeing a traditional mover doesn’t mix your belongings with another family or hold your stuff on the truck to negotiate new pricing. When your items are mixed with other families, things can be lost, or the entire shipment can get bed bugs from a previous family. We do all the heavy lifting to make your move easy and efficient!
"This review is long overdue! Makin Moves was wonderful. We moved out of our large rental home and used a different company to move us out. It was supposed to be a two day move because of the closing date for our new house. We were so unhappy with the first movers that I called Makin Moves that day to see if they could do the unloading of the two large trucks the following day. They accommodated us last minute and had as many movers as I requested (and an extra one!). They protected our home and were so careful with everything. They were organized and efficient. The movers were so respectful and nice and honestly lightened the stress of the move by a lot! They went above and beyond - I think they knew how stressful our move had been, between having to move out before the closing date and having two toddlers and two dogs with us, to the awful movers we had before them. So they went above and beyond by making us laugh, complimenting our new house, and just being awesome overall. We cannot recommend them enough. They were actually a pleasure to have around. Oh and the job they did was fantastic."
