"Sundek installed a new pool deck in July 2013. Great job, no issues, 100% positive. <br /> Our property seems to be more susceptible to ground expansion/contraction than usual, compared to our neighbors. Living in the house for twenty seven years I've seen more cracks develop in surfaces, from the garage floor, driveway, walkways, pool deck, and swimming pool walls than I ever thought reasonable even for South Florida.  The houses here were all built at the same time, by the same builder in the late seventies. There's never been anything disastrous, but certainly noticeable. <br /> Our new Sundek installation was no exception.  <br /> Hairline cracks appeared, grew larger with seasonal changes. Cracks in the original concrete base were noticed when two previous layers of  material were removed/repaired  prior to the Sundek install. <br /> Sundek's warranty covered any problems caused by poor application, defective material, etc. For obvious reasons, underlying issues not created by Sundek <br /> were not covered. <br /> When I called Corey at Sundek for advice he stopped by the following day for a look. He was surprised by the amount of cracks, some of which were three feet long. He spent some time examining the deck looking for areas that might not have been properly applied. We found nothing suspicious, no hollow spots, <br /> etc. <br /> I asked for any DIY suggestions, or a ballpark figure for patching and repainting the fifteen or so assorted cracks. <br /> He sympathized with my problem and explained that this was their busiest time with a backup of six weeks for work already contracted. If I could wait awhile until he had a crew in the area, he'd have someone come by and see what they could do. <br />  I agreed, and their was no discussion of payment at that time. <br /> About three weeks later,  two of Sundek's men showed up, said they were finishing a job nearby and went to check the deck out. We walked the perimeter <br /> and found close to twenty cracks. After explaining what they would do, they got to work and spent about an hour in the ninety degree afternoon sun meticulously repairing and repainting all the damage. I'm sorry I didn't get their names because they were professional, neat, efficient and really good <br /> technicians. <br /> Sundek didn't charge anything for the work or materials, even though they could have, and I would have gladly paid to have the work done. <br /> I'm happy to recommend them as reliable, efficient and dependable. And a special thanks to Corey who really is a good guy. Sundek's customer care is second to none, and I appreciate their goodwill and after-the-sale service. <br /> <br />"

"We selected this company initially because they were very responsive, they answered their phone and called back. We had dealt with unresponsive contractors in the past and this made a huge difference to us. During every step of the construction process one of the brothers would show up to supervise and ensure everything was done well. They were very communicative and ensured everything was to our liking. They were also very fast in getting the paperwork from me, I never had to wait on them to keep things moving. We removed the driveway, and right before pouring the new concrete an inspection was required, but coronavirus happened. The brothers were responsive and helpful in getting this project to move forward, even in the midst of the chaos. they called the city and ensured we got our inspections through. Their crew wore masks and everything was done by the book. The final product has become the talk of the neighborhood, with neighbors often commenting on the unique design and how great it looks. These guys do it right, and were worth every penny."

"Mike and Matt are truly professionals. They removed the existing driveway in a timely manner ,prepared the site and poured the concrete the next day, exactly what they said would happen. "Florida Palm Construction just finished a large project at my house. I replaced all the floors throughout with wood look tile and completely gutted a bathroom. From start to finish, FPC did such an excellent job. The time frame they quoted me was 2 months and they finished 2 weeks early. Corey showed up at my house either early or on time every single day. They cleaned up at the end of each day as best they could. Helped me moved heavy furniture around so that they project could get started. Corey's attention to detail was incredible. "I want to highly recommend this company if you are looking for a driveway company or any company to perform at your house. I found them to be easy going, readily available. They are highly competitive in pricing compared to other companies. Coming for a person who has worked and issued permits and knowing a lot of scam artist when it comes to contractors. People should be very wary when it comes to contractors but not with this company. This company delivers and produces a great product. "Their representatives were not high pressure sales persons. They were knowledgeable about the complications they might encounter. Due to weather and activity there was delay in starting our job--little longer than expected. However, once they arrived the work moved quickly until we encountered leaks in our swimming pool plumbing which delayed the finish and caused the tape on the tile to leave marks. They attempted to clean the tiles, but we are still seeing residue. I was not asked about replacing the pool light, the railings or ladder which would have made the job look newer. We found the staff responsive, and interested in making things right. They took calls on the weekends. The job supervisor even came to our home before 7:30 a.m. one morning to catch me before work for a decision on the job. The swimming pool refinish is beautiful and deck area is a major improvement. My husband and I did need to be observant and make requests along the way. Next time, I would accept their recommendations for coloring of the surface, I did not, and the light color I selected does show the dirt more."
