"Overall it was a horrible experience. My mother is selling her home and was looking for a company to help get her there. Mike Baker and his company were recommended. Our initial walk through went well, we were excited and thought we selected a company that would get us through...we were wrong. The work started, we were still living in the home During but were assured it was no problem. Our home (inside and outside) was treated as a construction site (trash left throughout our home, cigarette butts outside, paint wash off poured in our front yard (killed grass). On several occasions workers that were sent to our home early in the morning came smelling of Marijuana. Spoke with Mike Baker in reference to the unprofessional workers along with the fact we have children (which he has seen numerous times) that he would send workers under the influence to our home on multiple occasions. Once the work was some what completed we did a walk through to address things that were incomplete or needed to be fixed. There were several things poorly done (looked rushed or sloppy). Somethings were fixed and Mike made excuses about the home being older for others. (At this point we were over it). We were told that things we spoke of at the walk through were not on the proposal. (I take responsibility because I should have ensured that things were written out VERY SPECIFICALLY) The proposal was written in a some what general manner (he did that well and got us there) . Then, the things that could not be completed (hanging bathroom cabinets and light fixtures) he took off $100 but then added over $260 for (2) ball joints fixed on closet doors and kitchen cabinet hardware (2 cabinet doors). I'm not sure if this is his company standard or the fact that we are women as the reason for such a horrible experience. I will NEVER use him again and have already told co-workers not to waste their money. As I am purchasing another home...I'll find another company. BE AWARE"
