"The work turned out great. The joints are tight and lined up well. The corners were curved to add a nice touch so the pavers had to be cut along with cutting the smaller brick border bricks. I had about a 2 foot slope of land under the patio and a large slope for the path and step area. This work was done by 4 guys over two hot July days. The bobcat helped dig and rough level it. A lot of material was moved around along with at least 4 pallets of pavers and the blocks for the steps. To finish it off, they put down top soil, grass seed and hay was placed down to finish the job off very well."

"This is my second review of work performed by Rock 'n Gardens. Our first project—a large walkway/patio/entry installation--was so successful that we contracted for a short matching walkway to the front door with the leftover stone. The design challenge in this second project was to artfully tie the new work into three massive existing stone slabs so that the walkway would complement the scale of the existing slabs while not overwhelming the front of the house. Once again, we are delighted with the finished job. As with our first experience, professionalism, communication, and timeliness throughout this project were top notch. In fact, with a cold snap predicted, the Rock 'n Gardens crew, on their own initiative, arranged to finish the installation on a Saturday before the bad weather hit. That's above and beyond in my book. When we are ready for more stonework, we will definitely be calling Rock 'n Gardens."

"My husband and I chose to work with Tyler and his crew after having spoken with a few companies to have foundation and brick work completed. Our chimney also ended up needing to be replaced. Those companies either could not do all the work we requested or quickly looked over our 84 year old brick home and just sent a quote. Tyler immediately responded and took a genuine interest in our project. I'm an individual with a rare illness and have a ramp in front of the house. A number of bricks needed to be removed from around the ramp area and Tyler did a tremendous job fixing this issue without moving the ramp. "We had a great experience with Westside Building and Restoration, Inc. Initially, we called Westside to look at our front and back porch roofs. Alan advised that the front porch only need very little minor repair, to correct the drainage. And the back roof would need considerable more. I was afraid to hear what that would cost. I was able to do my own research prior to committing and Alan's cost to repair the back porch roof was right on par and a little better. The team arrived on time from the onset, finished the job without delay and went over all of the repairs. With that being said, I asked Alan to do a few more minor repairs such as installing a window and repair the hinges, wood work on the carport doors. Buckey took the extra step to put vinyl on the top portion of the doors to prevent future wood rot. Buckey and Chris was so kind, wonderful to talk too and so professional. My neighbors stopped by to see the final jobs and was so impressed, now Alan has new customers. The Westside office team always responded to my text or emails if we had questions. The Westside team worked around our schedule. in the end, we are so happy Alan and his team made this process run smoothly. The final projects turned out great!!!"

"Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home."
