"Several years ago Devon did an amazing job installing our Thermador refrigerator and freezer (not easy or basic in any way!) for a reasonable price and with great professionalism. They are both still running well without incident!"

"I first asked for a quote back in February of 2024. When I received the quote I decided to wait on this project. Then we lost power for 2 days due to a storm. I then decided it was time and contacted the contractor again. He sent me an updated quote and the project was scheduled. It's now installed and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Hopefully it will be a long time before we need to use the generator because we lose our power. But we are ready when it happens. I will definitely use this company again for any electrical jobs that come up. Andrew and his crew were great."

"Here’s a review you can post: Michael did an excellent job installing Ring lights on the front and back of the house. He clearly knew the product well—placement, wiring, and setup were all handled correctly, and he explained everything so it made sense. The work was neat and clean, with no messy wiring or leftover mess. Everything looks professional and works exactly as it should. Highly recommend him if you need Ring lights installed or any electrical work. This guy is a Professional"

"Randy did an excellent job and was reasonably priced. I had gotten another estimate for hanging a chandelier. Randyâ s price was half that and he installed a flush-mount light for me as a bonus. Very personable and he gave me some tips for Installing lights on my own as thatâ s what I usually do. Just didnâ t have a tall enough ladder this time. Thanks, Randy! Iâ m keeping your number and info for my next electrical needs!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Kirkland, IL

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
