Why wasn't that done in the first place. I was also told my little shed was included by the ***. The day before instal he called and said it couldn't be included. What they did respond to fast was the day I called to say I had the insurance check. They were very fast to respond and come pick that up And cash it. Yet didn't start the job for a month."

"Let me start by saying I seldom write reviews for any company and even less often feel a company deserves the highest rating. However, in this case I do think Maritime Roofing performed over and above what most companies would have done and definitely deserves a 5-star rating. I was naturally concerned about how to best select a roofing company since it isn't possible to observe the work or even evaluate how well it has been done. But I felt reassured by the thoroughness of the initial evaluation/estimate and seeing the drone footage of what needed to be done helped put my mind at ease. Although my initial inquiry was only for a new roof, having the same company paint as well proved to be a great decision. I'd also like to compliment both the roofing crew and the painters. They were all great to work with, neat, timely, kept me informed and went out of their way with extra touches that I wouldn't have even thought to ask about. All-in-all it was an especially good experience."

Key Issues: Material Overbilling: Billed for 104 shingle bundles for a roof requiring ~75. They refused to provide Supplier Delivery Receipts to prove delivery. 358% Markup: Charged $2,520 for plywood their own list valued at $550. Text records from Jan 16 show pricing was "made up" as an estimate ($5k-$6k), not a fixed contract. Predatory Labor: Billed $3,386 in labor for a one-day gutter install, grossly exceeding market rates. Faulty Work: Texts confirm management admitted siding was improperly installed and needed "rework". I have filed formal complaints with WA Labor & Industries and the Attorney General for Consumer Protection Act violations (RCW 19.86). Currently pursuing a claim against their bond (PROEDER754LK)."

They said they would return the next week to complete the contract but never showed up or even called to say they were delayed. Contract is still not completed."
