"JBW Masonry did absolutely excellent work!!! I found them through Angie's list and we are over the moon pleased with their work. Josh met our contractor for an estimate. While JBW Masonry was not our least expensive bid, I could tell from our initial meeting that he knew what he was doing, as we have had extensive masonry work done in the past. He is competitive for the quality of work and worth every penny. Josh, Troy, and crew started when they said they would and and finished in a timely manner. Everyone was neat, courteous, and took pride in their work. In fact, one of the things we enjoyed noting was watching the crew continually step back to assess their work. They laid out all the stone on the ground and then carefully selected the best rock for the location. It wasn't about grabbing any stone and finishing the job as quickly as possible. Quality matters to them. It was about finding the right stone for each spot in the wall. Our neighbors also observed the men stepping back to assess their work, and like us, they could appreciate the craftsmenship. I also appreciated that these men seem to truly enjoy working together. That seems rare these days. They laugh, enjoy listening to music while they work, and just have a good time producing a quality product. They were gentlemen, and a pleasure to have on our job site. Our job looks beautiful and all of us are hard pressed to tell it isn't real stone. If you want quality work at a fair price, this company is the one to hire. "DAFi Construction replaced our old retaining wall and steps. The old wall and steps were made with treated lumber that was falling apart. DAFI Construction installed a new treated lumber retaining wall with proper rock fill and landscaping paper behind the wall for drainage and replaced the old steps with stone blocks. They did an excellent job! One thing that I like very much is that the lead person, Darwin, was easy to work with and was present on the jobsite working with the rest of the crew 95% of the time! He is a true perfectionist."

"We first came to Dan Erb looking to improve the look of our front yard. In addition to surveying the yard, Dan spent time talking with us to learn more about our tastes and what we were looking for. The resulting design was far better than anything we had imagined. Dan's 3-phase design consisted of an enlarged and resurfaced stone driveway, stone steps leading down to a hardscape patio/fire pit area (Belgard pavers) and best of all, a magnificent three tier waterfall that weaves in between the trees and into a waterless pond. The area was then finished off with Rhododendrons, decorative ferns, Lenten roses and several other plants to give it a beautiful, natural woodsy look we love. <br /> Once the project was underway, Dan and his team worked hard and stuck to their schedule, putting in a full day's work each day until the project was completed. While the number of trees in the yard made it difficult to bring in the big earth-moving machines required to complete the project, they took care in navigating the machines so as not to damage the surrounding area. You can tell by the way they worked that they're all highly skilled, experienced professionals that are passionate about their craft. <br /> Thanks to Dan and his team, what was once a drab, ordinary front yard is now one that's truly fit for Better Homes and Garden's magazine. No hyperbole. We've already had several neighbors stop and comment on how beautiful it is (not to mention all the cars that slow to a crawl and check it out when they drive by). <br /> We couldn't be happier with the results or more strongly recommend Dan Erb and his team. "I moved permanently to PA last year (2014) and had been using Waste Management for weekly garbage pickup.  I did not want to have to haul my garbage cans 300 feet to the public road.  Fade is amazing.  This winter was horrible and I did not get the trash out each week when they arrived.  They were amazing at coming to the front door to get it. Their dumpster service is great and they are very accommodating about my needing extra days due to weather. The guys that come to the house are the best.  WM used to leave notes on my garbage to put it closer to the road, if I did, it would be in the road.  I no longer have to worry about animals getting into the trash, putting the smelly trash in the car to take to road, all those annoyances.  Fade is the best. <br />"
