"Have worked with Gabriel and his team now on multiple occasions to complete massive back and front yard projects at our home. We're super pleased with the results and would definitely recommend them without reservation! Always very professional and responsive, and the quality of the work delivered was at a high bar. In the backyard, they completely transformed our landscaping with a full wrap-around fence install, plus new irrigation and sprinkler systems, and full sodding. We had concrete poured next to the house to have a pad for a hot tub, as well as a separate seating area for a fire pit. Both of these were concrete stamped and colored which looks really classy as compared to just "plain" concrete. In the front, they completely demolished out a cactus garden and old shrubs and bushes, building a full wooden pergola and trellises for grape growing, as well as putting in some new trees and planters...it looks infinitely better and nicer now! Have greatly appreciated working with Gabe and his team, and will certainly consider them again going forward."

The crew was very professional, careful, communicative, flexible, efficient and cleanup well done. They worked without stopping, finishing the job in one day. "The men that did the work related to the prepping the yard for the retaining wall, placing the rock and pavers for the walkway did a very good job and it really looked nice. I've worked in construction and building maintenance for over 50 years, so I know what's good workmanship and what's poor. The worker who did the framing for the new sidewalk, steps and porch was poor workmanship. Nothing was level or straight and I had to have the other crew correct the forms before concrete was poured. The guys that finished the concrete did an excellent job. Never let D&D workers connect the lawn sprinkler piping to your house water piping. They seem to be handymen, not real plumbers. Beside not installing necessary valves and fittings to winterizing the sprinkler system, all the copper pipe was installed crooked, under stress and not supported correctly. Overall, half the crew did very good work, the other half needs training."

"Jose and his employees were great to work with. I got 2 bids on my job. The first was done via phone with pictures. The price was very reasonable. The second was from Jose, who showed up at my home and assessed the situation. The cost was higher but I think the first bidder, when he got to my home would have seen the problems associated with the job and raised his bid. Either that or the quality would have been a great deal below what I received from Cardenas Concrete. In addition, Jose suggested that I contact the plumbing company that caused one of the problems associated with the project. I did and that company corrected that problem at zero cost. I am a big believer that you get what you pay. In this case, a high quality concrete installation with which I am 100% satisfied and for which I give Cardenas Concrete and Jose Cardenas my highest recommendation."
