"I have intended to write this review for some time.  Eric Vansickle and his crew did a excellent job.  He designed the new slabs to fit our idea of how to create a "yard room" using our patio.  We had a serious yard drainage problem with water coming to the house when it rained. He gave us several options and designed a drainage system for the concrete pads that completely solved the drainage problem while putting in three excellent concrete slabs.  Very punctual, very professional and friendly.  It has been nearly a year and we could not be happier with the patio and the work that his crew did.  He appears to be excellent in design and knows his profession. We interviewed and got estimates from 4 contractors before starting this job.....he easily stood out as knowing more about the issue than the others.  Highly recommended"

"Mr. Bordeleon came and gave an estimate on extending my back porch. Approximately 450 sq ft of additional concrete. He was polite and listened to what I wanted to do. I had 4 other quotes given on the same work and none of them said that they were able to do what Mr. Bordeleon did. They told me I'd have to rip up existing concrete, blah blah blah. Mr. Bordeleon removed dirt and framed in one day, then came back the next day to pour the concrete. It looks great, exactly what I asked for, and for 1/2 the price of competitors. I would use and recommended him again."

"My experience was not very good. He let the concrete truck back up into my yard, and put the biggest rut. Who does that? He didn't apologize. He said my husband gave them the okay. My husband said that he did not give any okay to do such thing. My husband said that he doesn't care if there was no concrete in the truck, you don't back up the truck in a yard. It was unbelievable for a provider who had some experience. Everything else came out pretty nice. We just couldn't believe that he couldn't put a string and measure and put more concrete there. Those are the problems that we were very disappointed with. They said they would show up this date, they didn't show up."

"This one was hard to grade. I initially hired for plumbing and for the most part the workers did a good job. Issue, they used old 1980s facets from what was used previously from the outside to put on the Washing Machine instead of new ones. I paid $2200. Wouldn't you think new ones would have been the choice? Anyhow I called to let him know it was leaking and his response was, "you need new ones..Nice! :/ Before I knew about the old facets that was damaged, I hired him for the Bathroom which I was quoted $3500 for a very tiny bathroom. Work was done was tiling, and removing rotten wood on the floors Note: I paid for the Floors, Toilet, Vanity, Facet Fixtures and Tub Fixtures. The price for the bathroom ended up being $4500 Why I asked...because they ended up tiling instead of using a Shower enclosure. I was quoted $2450 from another company and stupid me choose them because I thought the plumbing was great. Overall...90% of the Plumbing was great, Tile work was great If he would have not raised the price on me with me knowing when it was quoted a lot less and came over to remove the old USED which was mine facet to put on the Washing Machine...which might have costed him $5.00. I would have given him an A Will I hire him back Nah..."

"Al and his helper arrived on time every day.  They were clean painters, and moved all the furniture to paint and then moved it back into place.  They were so pleasant to have in my home and as much as I hated the ordeal, I honestly enjoyed them.  The grand prize:  Al did an outstanding paint job!!  I understand he's a great carpenter, too, so he'll be #1 on my list for any upcoming repairs, etc. <br />"

"How good is Ed Chachere?  It's hard to put in words the detail and meticulous nature of Ed and Elijah.  Their work is as close to perfection as possible in a restoration of a home where lumber was cut to a different specification than you find today.  They have repaired walls, floors, renovated bathrooms, resolved problems with old construction, and are in the final process of bringing the home back to it's original glory.  Ed is proficient at working with other contractors and has been invaluable in his ability to coordinate efforts.  Needless to say, not only has Ed done a fabulous job on the home's interior, but he has also saved our sanity during the process.  Interior of the home is near completion and we are starting on outside."
