Staining was done at a later date to allow time for the wood to dry out. The price was competitive with two other quotes and post spacing was 6' rather than 8' as in the other quotes."

"The project went as planned. The crew arrived Monday, removed the old fence and dug holes for the new fence posts. Tuesday, they set the new posts in concrete. Wednesday, attached the cross members, and Thursday completed the fence. Friday morning finished hanging the very heavy gate and completing the job. <br /> A couple of additional comments: <br /> Blacksmith Fence rebuilt our cedar pool equipment enclosure that was destroyed in a storm for no charge after originally quoting a price in the initial quote. Additionally, they unexpectedly repainted not only the replaced driveway gate post, but the entire gate and existing post on the other side of the driveway at no charge. <br /> Generally, the workers arrived after we left for work in the morning and were gone by the time we returned home in the evening. I considered that a plus as we enjoy our evenings outside. <br /> I originally contacted Blacksmith Fence in April 2012 for a quote. I delayed scheduleing the job until September 2012. During this time, Ty stayed in contact and was prepared to start the job at my convenience. <br /> Very happy with the quality and professionalism. We chose this contractor solely based on the Angie's list reviews. We would use them again. <br /> <br /> Update 10/28/2012: If you want a privacy fence, make sure you specify no gaps between slats. After my initial favorable review of my fence, I realized the slats were places 1/4 to 3/8 apart. Not ideal when you want a privacy fence. I realize there are variances in the wood slats, but most of our slats were installed with a very large gap. When dealing with this vendor, make sure the slats are installed tight in the upfront negotiations. This is not something you can fix after the work is done. <br /> <br />"

"If you’re looking for a company with great quality and great service, I highly recommend Cisco Fencing. Francisco helped me with my dream backyard. I got a beautiful 7ft fence (for the privacy), brand new concrete and patio. The quality of the work exceeded what I expected!! We wanted to extend our patio both in length and height so they broke it all down (concrete included) and built back up into something magnificent! We also asked to have a walkway added which they did with ease. They are very thorough and professional. Coming from someone who knows nothing about this kind of stuff, they made the process so smooth and easy. "The owner, Colton reached out to me immediately and made arrangements to quote the job. This was a small repair job primarily affecting 2 fence panels. While most fence companies (a company I had worked with for 15 years said they would do it but backed out after quoting on the work) have decided to avoid small jobs, Colton was willing to come out and give a quote. After seeing the work, Colton was willing to take on the job and said he'd work me into his schedule over the next week. Within a week Colton arranged to do the work and then came out and completed the work. The work was high quality and satisfied all our needs for this repair. He was great keeping us informed by phone or text, so we didn't have to worry about being forgotten. As opposed to other fence companies, he was willing to quote on the work requested. Other companies wanted to increase the cost (to us) by replacing more fencing that currently did not need to be replaced. I believe Colton realizes that a small job can lead to a large job in the future, I know we certainly will call him when more of our fence needs to be replaced. "From the start my rep Alex from Texas Backyard Living, was very cordial and patient with me as I was trying to figure out which options we were going to go with without breaking the bank. After obtaining several bids from different companies I settled on them since they seem interested in making this work for me, accommodating changes and updating the bid in a timely manner. Other companies although they came in lower in price, when I requested they include the grade of the wood and posts in the contract they either became less responsive or wanted to change the price (typical bait and switch). Once we signed the contract, they scheduled me immediately within a few days, which was awesome. The crew came in and demoled the old fence in relatively no time. Next you know they had the posts set and off they went. The next they day the crew came back and had the new 7 Foot fence built, amazingly fast. The Forman "Jose", is a master builder and was able to modify the Electric gate rollers to meet the new height as easily as nailing a picket, while other companies made a big deal out of it. When the work was completed the new Cedar fence looked beautiful and sturdy. As the boards dried out in the 100 degree heat, a few picket spilt. Upon calling Alex, he had the crew scheduled within a week to come back and replace the few board. So Overall Great company, Great Sales Guy, and Great crew. Plus we tried the post installation warranty and they made good on it without any effort! Thanks guys for super job well done!"
