Small jobs welcome

"Indigo, the owner and his crew were top notch! They arrived on time, completed the job quickly (even staying late) and did a great job of cleaning the work site. The quality of the drywall repair, texture work and painting was excellent. We were very pleased and would hire them again!"

"I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind. I will be hiring Eugene and Honeycomb Construction again for future home projects. Thank you!"

"By far one of our greatest involvements with a contractor that worked at our house and did a wonderful job. Perfect company, perfect customer service and excellent quality of work. We were very fascinated by the effectiveness of our project manager, who managed our remodeling project and which was a complete kitchen remodeling and a complete master bathroom remodeling in a timely matter AND within the promised budget. We are very happy and satisfied with our thoughtful decision to hire them and would highly recommend them to our friends."

"Job started out in excellent fashion. Great communication, crew on site as planned. Demo accomplished per schedule, site kept clean, crew very professional. Framing and wiring went as planned. Electrical guy was outstanding and very thoughtful about placement of switches, outlets and cost. Then the clouds...drywall installed without insulation(quickly corrected). Plasterers did poor job leaving very visible seams(also corrected after I pointed it out). Painter was a disaster-didn't show up, lots of rework, splatter, fingerprints, poor quality. To their credit, Anderson's eventually replaced the guy and tried to fix everything they could. But now we are well behind schedule. Some issues cropped up with the cabinets and countertops. All were resolved to my satisfaction over time, but it took many months. The bottom line is that I am mostly satisfied with the work as it was finally completed. Anderson's has been very professional throughout the effort, not making excuses but trying to make it right. In fact, they came back a year after the install on very short notice to correct a leak from the toilet seal. Through the job there were the usual adjustments for small changes and for things that I provided beyond the basic contract. I really need help with getting a final bill from Anderson's. I have been waiting for over a year. I believe that with all the pulls and takes we are probably even, or I may be owed a small amount(having paid them 90% of the contract). At this point I would be delighted to have a "paid in full" receipt in my drawer and be done with it. I don't want a lien to appear someday."

"I didn't feel they ever took the time to understanding exactly what we wanted to have done. They seemed to be looking for a big project not just a kitchen remodel. The estimate for our kitchen was 3x our budget.

"great. 2 workers. there was a reschedule due to illness and they did arrive a bit later than the appointed time due to directions issues. But, I was fine with it. I did supply the drywall and of course it was a different thickness than the surrounding material making the repair a bit more complicated. I don't see a difference in the finish, they dealt with it nicely. I did not have them paint as this was a 3 hour prepaid work offer and the work did take that amount of time. they did fine with prep and clean up and marked the water hoses for me to reattach correctly. I am happy with the patch work and how texture dried."

FAQs for plaster repair projects in Lakebay, WA

Yes, crumbling plaster poses a safety hazard. Crumbling plaster overhead can drop heavy pieces that injure anyone below. The risk increases if the material contains older additives, such as asbestos or lead-based paint, which can become airborne when the surface is disturbed. Have a qualified pro test and repair deteriorating areas quickly to keep your family—and pets—safe.

Ceiling plaster repairs require a lighter touch than wall repairs. Plaster repair professionals apply thinner coats of plaster to ceilings to reduce weight and smooth the surface, which helps prevent future sagging. Wall repairs can handle extra texture and additional layers without risking structural strain. A plaster repair pro will have the expertise to determine the best technique for your problem area.
