"I needed diagnostics and repairs of a doorbell that ceased to function after pressure washing of the home; we replaced the bell, but it was still not functional. Brett quickly found and repaired the issue. He also found a problem with the 20 year old surge protector, which was double tapped to the main breaker. He installed a new surge protector and removed it from the main breaker. I did not even know this was a problem, as the home inspector had not discussed it with us when we purchased a year ago. I greatly appreciate that Brett was not only polite and punctual, but that he could make needed recommendations about an unrelated issue that will likely save me a lot of money in the future!"

"First thing first, the company does provide excellent customer service. Unfortunately, I felt the prices I was charged were really steep for installing lighting fixtures ($470 for a ceiling fan alone as an example ). I?m new to the area so I felt I was taken advantage of in that matter and I was in a bit of time crunch due to traveling arrangements. Customer beware. "

"A/C went out because of bad breakers. I had to get emergency after hours service. Company sent a tech (nice guy); from Brandon. Shows up after an hour or so, and I told him in advance what he needed to get to complete job (I didn't have experience doing it). Gives me an estimate off the bat for over $1,000 to change TWO breakers worth about $65. When I complained and said "no", he suddenly came up with a new revised price of $549!!! I went forward reluctantly because we had no A/C and it was night time. Took him about 20 minutes to make the repair with me holding a flashlight and testing things for him. Incredible RIP OFF!!! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! They are obviously out to rip off people for a quick repair. And to do it when people are in a dire circumstance is just not right."

"We originally had a great experience with the company. This time, not so much. They came out to do the job and didn't have the proper equipment even though we had someone come on site to provide a quote. We then got 3 different iterations of a quote and finally on the second attempt they came in to move a light fixture and to install the light. They did good work and the technicians were great, however the technicians charged me one amount to only get a follow up from the office stating that it was more money than the technicians charged me. To me, this is a complete bait and switch. I would not trust any quote you get from the company because they are liable to just change the amount from what the technicians charge you after the service was completed. I will not ever do business with them again!"

"David Spence did it again!! We had 2 bathrooms that needed to be gutted and one a conversion from tub to shower only. Not only did David Spence come in at a fair price, everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. Tile for second bath was running behind so instead of having us wait for it to come in, he gave us a choice to go pick out tile from Floor and Decor, which we did and the bathroom looks beautiful. Great customer service! We love that Ched and Tristan took time to answer any concerns we had along the way and they kept us up to date on the daily work. Both of our bathrooms are totally unrecognizable from where we started. You can’t go wrong hiring DAVID SPENCE INC. for your remodeling needs. We would definitely recommend him and his team."
