"Honest, reliable and best roofing company. We had Advance Roofing and another company do Roof leak repair. Both did not hold up, it started leaking more. Both companies did not explain well and Advance Roofing charged almost $1K and the other company half that. Saw all the good reviews about Renaissance roofing and called them, the lady that scheduled the appointment was very pleasant and told me upfront they charge $95 to inspect the leak and if they repair they will take it off the final bill. Don showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He showed me pictures of damage and where the problem was. I know Advance roofing did nothing in the area where the issue was found. The other company did something there but did not do it correctly, they added more caulk causing more leak. Don diagnosed it properly, fixed all the issues and tested it. The other two companies I asked for pictures and they would not share it with me. Another couple of companies I called tried to rip me off by saying my roof is bad and needs total roof replacement (they send sales people,not repair person) and i asked them how much they charge for new rood and quoted ridiculous amount for roof replacement (I researched online and with neighbors and I know for the size of my home it should not cost more than $7K to $13K), by the way my roof is only 11 years old. I am extremely happy with the way he repaired it, the explanation and pictures of the repair gives me reassurance. Finally I found an honest business. I highly recommend Renaissance Roofing for all your roofing needs. Out of 5 I want to give them 10 stars. Thank you so much Don. Appreciate it."

"The experience with Billy White's company was excellent from start to finish.  The crew arrived on time and worked diligently during the two days that were needed to complete the project.  All crew members were polite, professional and respectful of our property. Our crew chief went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the product and process at every step, and went "above and beyond" to make sure the work was at the highest of standards.  At the end of the project, the crew was meticulous about cleaning up the nails and debris left over from the tear-off.  A week later, someone from the company arrived to check on the quality of the work, to make sure we were satisfied and even brought a magnet roller to check for any remaining nails and/or debris that might have been left (he found only a few nails).  All in all, we are extremely satisfied with Billy White Roofing, from the sales personnel, office staff and especially the hard-working roofing experts who gave us a beautiful new roof and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality roofers. <br />"

"I am somewhat disappointed. Hopefully though, I have a waterproof flat roof, but the before and after installation was problematic. On 09/21/22 three guys showed up at about 10am, one left after 45 minutes, and the other 2 went to work. About an hour in, it started to drizzle, but the guys continued working. When it really started to rain hard they finally put up a tarp and left for the day at about 12:45pm. But the damage was done. Below the roof, the ceiling in the room was partially wet, resulting in some soaked insulation on the attached tile material; causing one to even fall from the ceiling from the weight of the water, which also resulted in some tiles to separate their ceiling tile material cover from the insulation. Also, enough water came through the ceiling to wet some of the carpet. On the following day at 9am sharp, three guys showed up and went immediately to work. They were done by 4:00pm. Upon inspection of the roof it was pointed out there was a sizeable glue spill stain on the rubberized roof material, but no effort was made to remove it. Finally, as they left, they dragged at least one, or two, of the debris bags across the driveway, scratching and scarring the cement. The one adjective that comes to mind is careless. Maybe I’m neat picking but for the premium price, and sterling reputation, I expected not to have these types of issues on an otherwise good job."

"I recently sought help from Dr. Flue to repair a gap that had formed where mortar around my chimney had apparently eroded over time. From first contact with their office, to the final visit and completion of the work, my experience with Dr. Flue’s staff was exceptional… They took time to understand the issue and provide me a simple cost estimate; scheduled a time to come out and shot me a reminder a couple days ahead of the visit; then showed up on time and prepared. Once onsite, they confirmed the work we had discussed would address the issue I originally reported. Then pointed out some significant chimney flashing issues I was unable to see from the ground. These were a result of a recent, shoddy roof re-shingle job done by another contractor. I was impressed how they stayed objective and did not bad-mouth the roofers - just pointed out the issues and likely consequences I could expect if they were to go unaddressed. "Justin and his team were able to cut and reuse some of the original siding and then used extra siding that I had laying around, which minimized the color difference between the undamaged siding and the repaired location. They even took care of a leaky exhaust vent on my roof for a minimal fee. I was unable to be there when the team were doing the repairs, but Justin kept me up to date with text messages and even sent me pictures of both before and after of the siding and roof vent repairs. I was very impressed with Justin's responsiveness and professionalism, and I will definitely hire them again."

"Had complete roof replaced in July 2009. Recently (September 2015) noticed water spots around two recessed lighting fixtures in a little used second story bedroom. I went into the attic and found the affected recessed lighting and removed insulation and looked at the light fixtures and noticed evidence of water marks around the base of the lights. Had Great Lakes Roofing come out to help assess the cause of the water marks. The likely area of the roof was located that could have leaked and Great Lakes removed several shingles carefully to further inspect the area - shingles were in great shape, the underlying felt was in perfect shape and no source of a leak could be found. There was no obvious evidence of water leakage on the top of the attic insulation. The shingles were reinstalled with new nails with the old nail holes sealed completely. Great Lakes Roofing made several phone calls to Techs that could give their opinion on the source of the water marks - one possible source could be that during the last winter super deep freeze (-25 deg. F. in Clarkston for 3 nights) and with the metal recessed lighting fixtures separating the warm humid interior with the very cold attic that some condensation occurred around the affected light fixtures and caused the water marking. The area will be monitored with the next significant rainy weather pattern. If a leak is spotted,  Great Lakes Roofing will return and see what can be done. The Great Lakes Roofing Inspector spent at least two hours up in the attic and on the roof ...............NO CHARGE!!!! <br /> Besides giving me a very competitive price for the 2009 install and the No Charge service call 6 years later - I highly recommend Great Lakes Roofing! <br />"

"They replaced a 4,000 foot roof and were fantastic. They brought 3 crew's that all worked at the same time and they were extremely good. They cleaned up afterwards and came back the next day to ensure the job was perfect. There was an area of the roof where the beams were completed rotted out and they replaced them without charging me anything. This took three men nearly 4 hours but again, they never asked for money. I am so happy I used this company."
