From the gentleman who sold me on the products, to the gentleman who came to take the final measurements, to the man who scheduled and ordered all the products I could tell that this was an exceptional company. The crew arrived on time and got right to work and were done in a good time period. They had me come to inspect the finished product and made sure I knew how to work the locks. While they were working the gentleman who had set everything up for the job stopped by the house to check out the work. When they were done the area was cleaned up and everything put away. Modernized Exteriors is Washington’s Best Decking ,Siding, Windows, and roofing Residential contractor. We specialize in quality and customer service and we take pride in every job we do.
"Modernized Exteriors seem to have built a decent deck for a decent price but in a somewhat sloppy and dishonest way. First, they left hundreds of pieces of debris including over 100 nails, screws, and other fasteners, and hundreds of pieces of the old deck lying around, including some pieces over six feet long, many with embedded nails sticking out. For months, nearly every time my daughters went out to play they came back with a handful of nails and screws. Second, the old deck had a notch through which the gutter downspout passed to reach the drain in the ground. Instead of cutting a notch for the downspout, they just tossed it behind a bush allowing the gutter to empty directly onto the deck. They promised a 12-month warranty, saying they'd come out to correct any defects. When I mentioned the disconnected gutter they initially said they'd fix it, but then ignored my follow-up messages when I asked them to actually do it. So they may not honor their promises."

"Everything from end-to-end was professional, patient and detailed. We had lots of time with sales and design to see our options. They guided us through decisions we didn’t even know we’d have to make. The whole house was immediately warmer and the installation was so smooth. (At least from our side. I hope the installers felt the same.) The installation team told us each day what they would be working on tomorrow and worked around a couple of tight and high areas with no issues. They took extra steps to protect the surrounding areas and provided great information about how it was going. They took time to save some special millwork around the front door on the inside that we weren’t sure could be saved. It looks great.
