"We had a great experience with Ryan Hamilton Electric when they came to work on our building and in our apartment. We had discovered that the knob and tube wiring that we thought had been removed from our apartment was still present, and so we hired Ryan to remove the old type of wiring and bring our unit up to code. Ryan and his assistant Tim went above and beyond when it came to doing the work. Ryan explained very clearly to us exactly what the issues were with the knob and tube wiring and showed us exactly what had to be done to fix the problem. We had no surprises. While we were hiring Ryan to remove the old wiring, we also asked him about doing some other electrical work in our apartment. Ryan was happy to add on these further improvements and charge us only for the materials since we were already paying for the labor. Ryan listened to our desire for improved lighting and better outlets, and he presented solutions that would work for us and our kids. He found the perfect lighting fixtures for all the bedrooms and the bathroom, and he offered to improve lighting when it seemed necessary. The project took a few days; Ryan made sure we had the temporary lighting we would need in the evenings after he had completed work for the day. Ryan and Tim also cleaned up beautifully each afternoon when they were done with their work. Ryan and Tim didn't just do exemplary work. They were also warm, friendly, and affable, and a delight to have working in our apartment. We will actually miss having them around, but we were so impressed and delighted by their work that we plan to hire them again soon to improve the lighting in the kitchen and to install new outlets in the bedrooms. "For the first 2 years, their M.O. is to communicate mostly through their online portal and email. Face-to-face communication is not something that they regularly schedule and asking them to do this has been met with no communication. In the first 2 jobs, their work was 'fine' for what they did with the exception that they didn't do what I asked and had to come back again to fix things (though they made some cuts on bushes that they were asked NOT to cut). This year, I tried again to communicate with them, but they were open to the job only through email and their portal. My attempts to speak with them were met with, literally, 'You should find someone else to do the work'. This year's job included 2 houses - one for my brother-in-law who is very ill and can't do the work he typically does himself. I thought that Twins Lawn Service would be more willing to at least do that job (a very small one), but again - they wouldn't even schedule it since I asked that they speak with me directly to understand the job. Buyer beware; call them at your own risk; I won't do that again!"

We attempted to contact him every day for a week to schedule final inspection after water was connected, but got no response. He took hours to walk our yard and woods to find and treat all poison ivy on the ground and in the trees (we have a big property and had a lot). Lee found it all and then on his return trip to ensure all is eliminated he treated anything new or if he had missed any. We're happy to say its all gone now and we couldn't be happier.
