"This review shares my experience with Modern Windows and Doors, which I suggest potential customers read fully. I paid a $10k deposit for a basement entrance project costing around $22k. Josh Webster promised a "turnkey" project but failed to deliver and attempted to move forward with no permit. After weeks of no updates, I learned that engineering was incomplete. Communication was poor, and I often had to ask for updates. I later found out they weren't licensed for the work in Longmont, leading to delays. Josh hired a concrete guy who was building the walls and stairs outside of the spec the engineer designed. When I hired my own concrete contractor, he discovered mistakes in the work done. Ultimately, I requested my deposit back after losing confidence in Josh. He returned part of the deposit and made me sign a non-disparagement agreement that violates the consumer review fairness act. I recommend finding another contractor. I lost tons of time and money working with this company."

Not only was Brad on the spot in a reasonable amount of time, his company knew exactly what they were doing and charged a fair price. "See The Light Window does not stand by their work or their window manufacturer vendors. They installed a defective window with bubbling, did not notice it until I pointed it out upon project completion, and now will not cover the cost of additional drywall, stucco, and paint repair due to the need to re-install a new window when the manufacturer delivers a new window. I was told they would rather litigate and pay their lawyers than make things right for me, their customer. I was told by Danny, the CEO, that "mistakes happen" and it's "normal" for the customer to bear the brunt of their company's and window manufacturer's mistake. I would not do business with them as their windows are not good quality and they have no interest in servicing a customer."
