They really should have come back the next day to clean up the pencil numbers, dirty hand prints, and concrete dribbles. "We were quite satisfied with the work and quality for the most part... one or two welds on the security screens could have been executed with better continuity and the fence line laid out a bit more accurately on the side yard. There was one afternoon appointment which was missed entirely without a phone call or explanation.  When all is said and done, the fence really sets off our yard and we feel much safer with the locked security screens.

"Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."

"We were not sure what we wanted to replace our grass with. All the alternatives were explained to us. We chose to go the paver route. The grass was removed, area prepped and pavers installed. We are very pleased with the work and plan on using them again in the future for other projects.
There was only one thing that didn't go as planned. The schedule installation date was postponed by one day and we had to rearrange our previously scheduled appointments.
