"Hired Eastland Movers to move my son and his family into their first home. They moved from Owings Mills, MD up to Hanover PA. First of all, the cost of the move was very fair. The movers showed up on time, they got right to work and were very professional. They were friendly and courteous. They packed and wrapped all of the furniture well, no scratches or damages. I had to make them take a lunch break (I bought pizza for everyone) otherwise they would have just kept working. The move took over 8 hours in total. Additionally, the office scheduler Sara could not have been more helpful. She explained the whole process and sent me quote within minutes of our phone call. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. We provide Long Distance Moves across the entire country, directly from our West Coast HUBS located in AZ, CA, OR and WA. Or, we team with our partner companies to complete moves together. We are proud to provide a service that no other company offers; Dedicated Trucks. This means that your belongings are loaded on the truck and not combined with anyone else’s items (from/to west coast only). They are not transferred to other trucks or facilities in route which causes damage and loss of items (typical with van lines). We have a set loading day and unloading day. This is by far the safest way to ship. Our interstate rates are per 24ft moving van that holds up to 8,500lbs or 1400CuFt. Some customers require one truck and some require more. One truck holds the average 1800SqFt.
