"12/16/2019 Our new roof is excellent. It is a beautiful and highly functional metal roof that has ended our damaging leaks, reduced our high electric bills, added years of life to our AC system and even garners admiration from our neighbors. There is no doubt that in addition to being wonderful to work with, they run an expert company of very fine professionals. This roof was 29 years old, also known as Mount Everest due to the extreme pitch, has three levels and gave us all some not good surprises including --Completely rotted chimney that needed replacement --Chimney cap replacement --Replacing rotted trusses --Installing hundreds of hurricane straps Other surprises include the lengths they went to --Make sure the new chimney stone complemented our home's existing exterior stone work --Replaced rotted fascia with the same grain and type of cedar --Sealed the fascia to match it to the existing fascia --replaced the gutters to not only finally work (our existing ones were non functional) but also made them beautiful we did extensive background checks on city roofing and similar competing roofers. I personally looked up every relevant permit for work done by all so I could judge how many completed roof projects by contractor, follow up repairs or issues, and related. Despite this, we were still a little apprehensive because the project was so big and we knew we'd have a large crew here daily. Also, as much as we liked their salesperson (jackie) we were expecting speed bumps between what was sold and what we got. Amazing: jackie might be one of a handful of completely honest sales people. A pleasure to work with. The crew was a revelation. On time every day, from gate entry to getting up on the roof and starting work under five minutes, no cell phones, no cigarettes, very respectful of our property. Really, a joy to welcome them into our home There is no way this roof was going to be cheap. But you get what you lay for, excellent results and top notch service and respect for our property"

"Incredible value for amount charged. I had some rotted facia board replaced on roof corner that had resulted from a leak in a gutter seam on that corner. The crew worked 8 hours and installed additional downspout to prevent further problems. Tile on corner of roof removed, new drip rails installed and underlayment inspected and resealed before reinstallation of tiles in a manner that was even better than builder. Roof checked out fine after rain event. This type of work is beyond the scope of any handyman. Most roofing companies will also turn down jobs like this because they only want new roof installs. Many tradesmen and related industry pros aren't up to roof repair. After 3 years of searching, I finally obtained a great roofing company that I trust....Aastro Roofing. They are incredible!"

"I placed a request for quote on Angies List and was given 3 â preferredâ vendors to contact. I reached out to all three: one never called me back, one never showed or called for the quote appointment and Richard who answered my phone call as soon as I pressed send on the website. Richard arrived for the appointment on time, inspected the roof and quickly provided both an oral estimate as well as a written one. He and his office were in constant contact with me as far as scheduling and advising of weather delays etc. The job was completed at the quoted price and the repair appears as if there was never a leak. Other companies should take note of Richards business practices, treat your customers with respect, do an honest job at a fair price. I would recommend hiring Richard for your roof repair jobs. I also called the company who provides roofing services at my business. Their price was almost 2000 dollars higher."

"<p>I had a leak for years that no one could fix.  I finally resigned myself to the fact that I needed a new roof given the age of my current one.  I received 3 estimates all in the same range, all were quite expensive.  Then a friend of mine recommended J & K Roofing.  They came out and inspected the roof.  The did the most thorough inspection of all the roofers and as a result informed me that I did not need a new main roof.  It could be repaired and they were so confident in the repair that they gave me a good warranty too.  Further, they said my roof still had an additional 10 plus years of life to it.  They repaired my main roof for a fraction of what others wanted for a new roof.  And they replaced the flat roof for a very good price as well.  They showed up promptly, completed the job quickly, they were neat, clean and polite.  And they fixed the leak!!</p> <p>There's a reason J & K Roofing  is at the TOP of  Angie's List.  I give them an A+++++ </p>"
