They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, and did an amazing job (hopefully this site allows me to upload photos after writing this). The work was done in 3 separate days and took less than 2 weeks from the initial phone call to the finished installation. The price is what you would expect for this level of work and that much sod (sod is not cheap). They're not over-priced but it's not Bob's discount landscaping either. You'll get your money's worth for your project. Baumann's will be my #1 choice for future landscape projects."

They did a good in mowing, edging, etc. but did not like that they did no haul away the grass cuttings but instead threw it at the top of my backyard. "Jesus was great. He didn't actually come himself, but sent someone from his team. The timing could have been better (I requsted them to come on Sunday - they couldn't make it until Monday afternoon). And I would have appreciated a touch more communication. But the lawn was cut beautifully (we have a somewhat tricky lawn and this was the first cut of the year, so it was a bit long in some areas). They removed some branches which had fell during a recent storm, too, for no additional charge. Overall, I'd highly recommend Jesus and his team. They will be doing our lawn for hte rest of the summer."
