"EXCELLANT, local company who has been in the business over 30 yrs. I highly recommend Kirkness Roofing. If needed in the future, I will be calling them. I recommend setting up a contract with their company representative, Andrew Carney. He is honest. He is extremely knowledgeable of every aspect of the roofing business. When there was a small problem with the flashing around my chimney, the owner of the company, Roger Kirkness, came over himself. We got on the roof with his crew Supervisor. Roger confidently explained to me how the roof crew would proceed with the flashing so it would look great, and not leak. The crew fixed flashing as directed. This is the best looking roof this home has every had; and I have lived at this home the last 18yrs. Roger, Andrew, the crew Supervisors are easy to reach by phone or cell phone messaging. They have always immediately responded to my calls or concerns. Thanks Kirkness Roofing!! Well worth $12,858.00."

"After being on their work list for about 10 weeks, we finally got an appointment date. Workmen showed up 2 hours late, but they had an emergency repair in Laurel and I was notified by phone. Work completed in 1 day. We are happy with the work so far, it hasn't rained since gutters were installed so can't report on that right now. <br />"

"It was top notch. He answered my calls every single time. His price was 2,000 lower that the others. He was absolutely superior. They were fast moving as well. There's no competition that can keep up with them."

"Working with Anthony was a great experience. He was prompt, friendly, and very meticulous with his work. He and Tyler put on our metal roof and snow guards. There were some tricky angles, but he figured them out with no problem and it looks great. We asked him if he would also put Versetta stone on portions of the house. He was agreeable with that though it wasn't part of the initial job. After the stone was laid, he then did the siding. We are beyond pleased. He was very neat and cleaned the area every day. We enjoyed getting to know him and would recommend him for any siding or roofing job you need. If we have another project, he will be the first one we call."

"Tom was prompt, friendly and courteous. He came out the day I called asking for a bid and commenced work a couple of days later. <br /> There were a few issues after the initial bid and we discussed them thoroughly and he gave me options. Additional work was explained and extra costs were outlined explicitly. He took me up on the roof and showed me exactly what the problems were and suggested various solutions. His crew was very efficient and cleaned up well after themselves. Tom went to great lengths to make sure all work was performed exactly as we wanted it. <br /> I don't think there is such a thing as a pleasant experience when having home repairs performed, but this was as as close as it comes. <br />"

"Jenny Bowers is excellent.. someone who takes pride in her work. She purchased the parts from either Lowe’s or Home Depot and showed me the receipt. The cost for the repair was more than reasonable. I had been told by a friend who does repair contracts for hotels that the rotted wood would need to be replaced with PVC material and that’s exactly what she used. Cleaned up inside the house near the door as well as the patio. This lady knows what she is doing . Hire her from TimeSavers in Winston Salem NC. We had contacted another handyman service who said they would first need to come out and take measurements around the door so they would know how much of the supplies would need! I simply took a picture of the door on my cell phone and sent to Ms Jenny at Timesavers Handyman services, she measured what she needed to measure as she was completing the job. Wish we could upload before and after pics. Will hire her again for any other type of services"

"Mr. Haas identified problems in our roof installation and issued a report. He suggested re-install and steps that we should take to get it done. It was a long process that involved county and DPOR. Mr. Haas was very helpful every step during the entire process. He is highly experienced and very responsive to our calls, text, and email. We eventually got the roof reinstalled in a very good quality. Mr. Haas was onsite multiple times to ensure the right materials and methods were used. It would not be possible without the help from Mr. Haas."

"Jim was probably the most conscientious contractor we've employed and have had many since our home is over 50 years old. He was always very punctual and completed work on schedule. If not, there would be a reason if a material was not available. He would say when he would start in the morning and he would be there. His equipment is top of the line and he cares for it very well which translates into the work he does. Jim is able to solve problems, as are common in older homes) sometimes looking at it and coming up with something that worked even better. His excellent carpentry skills were very much appreciated. He had to work with the plaster walls, some were not plumb and he installed all the cabinets perfectly, all the soft close doors are great, everything is level, and it looks like a showplace kitchen. He hired electrical, painting, and plumbing subcontractors and oversaw their work. He would check the skim coating that the painter did, ended up touching up some of that. When he left, the work was always up to his standards. Also, he has completely built several homes for himself. <br /> We are thrilled with the end result and have so many compliments on the work and the new kitchen. Wish I'd found him and done it sooner. <br /> I highly recommend Jim Janssen of Absolute Construction for any home remodeling. I will be doing another review of Jim as we had him return this fall to do more work for us. <br />"
