"The ice maker on my 2001 refrigerator broke. As with most older appliances, not always does the first (most likely) thing fix the problem. It was true in this case as well. Although one could see that the ice maker motor was burned out (actual tell-tale burn marks), it turned out that was not the only problem. Carlos, the technician, replaced the ice maker. Until it had time to cycle he would not be able to tell if that was the fix. It turned out that there was an additional problem - water was not being delivered to the ice tray. I ordered a replacement part on-line and notified Carlos when it arrived. He came out and installed the part and all is well. IT WORKS! There was a brief 'hiccup' right after I realized replacing the ice maker alone didn't resolve the problem. Apparently Charlie Boyz' voice mail was 'full' when I called so I couldn't leave a message. It turned out to be a glitch in their phone system. I was at loss and a bit peeved initially but Home Advisor was able to contacted them and Carlos called me right away. I am completely happy with the service and how conscientious Carlos was, sticking with it to find the problem and getting my ice maker to work. I would definitely use them again for appliance repair service. They are good, conscientious and hard-working people!"

I recognized how the misunderstanding could have occurred and it could have been partially my fault. He was quick to offer a remedy with almost immediate service. Overall I was very satisfied.
