"This company was easy to work with from start to finish. I called for an estimate and they were here to look at the property, the roof, and decide on the job particulars. We received the proposal with all of the particulars about the job and the total cost.. We chose Elmer's after having received four other proposals. On the day of the installation, six young men were there at 7 a.m. The entire squad worked eight hours and diligently finished the roof in one day. They were hard-working, very professional, and extremely pleasant to work with. Our property was meticulously clean on their departure. The roof is beautiful and we would highly recommend this company to anyone."

"Sam and hi family and staff worked in the heat wave of the summer in 2022. a three week roofing project. Our house has 5 chimneys, multiple barrel dormers on the third floor. There were 2 asphalt roofs that had to be taken off - and taken away. They were up on the roof every morning at 7 am, took their short lunch breaks - and got back up there. We heard them singing - in the heat . It was a lovely experience. Great attention to detail. We cannot recommend them enough. They are worth the wait . very fairly priced. hard workers."

They also replaced the railings on the front porch several years ago and this year they replaced the decking on the deck at the back of the house. Jake and the crew were very professional during the entire installation, even after discovering mama skunk and her 4 babies that had taken up residence under the back corner of the deck. The crew cleaned up at the end of each days work leaving the site looking presentable. Attached are some before and after photos. The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. "The job went very well. I was surprised how fast a crew of 5-6 people could tear off the roof and put a new one on. We had some rain in the forecast for later in the day and I was a little concerned but they assured me that it would be watertight before any rain fell. To followup on the job, we just received a gift basket containing Lancaster County food products as a thank you for using their services, which was a nice touch on their part."
