"Did a horrible job. David uses low quality wood, screws are missing and unevenly placed, boards are warping badly after 2 months, uses wrong gate hinges and stained wood way too early (1 coat) causing fading and sticky sap. I HIGHLY don?t recommend this dude!!!!"

"Subcontractors were mostly good, but management of them was lacking. I had to personally supervise them because the on site contractor rarely stayed very long. Told the trim finish crew to leave because they did not know how to install crown molding. Got another crew that knew what they were doing. They never asked for periodic payments during the job (as is typical); presented one huge bill at the end. Holland homes builds nice homes, but I would not recommend them for small jobs like mine because you do not get the best crews and you have to wait for them to fit you into their schedule."

"When he quoted me, he said it would take 2-3 days. What he did get done took 2 weeks. He also claimed to be one of Home Depot's top two painters that they used to do paint jobs. When I talked to Home Depot after the fact, they told me they only sold paint. They did not quote or do painting jobs. He convenienced me to give him the final payment so he could pay his employees on late Friday (3-2-2018) afternoon just before the bank closed. He lied about how much work had been completed and I paid him. My mistake. He promised to be back Saturday morning to finish up. Guess what. No show. He will not answer the phone or text messages but he cashed my check. I guess I am just out the money. The inside of the front door looks like he added sand to the varnish on the inside top. He sanded the outside and then did not re-varnish it leaving it exposed to the weather. He left the bathroom cab. with one coat of paint and it needed a second coat. He failed to paint two outside doors that he got paid for as well. I learned an expensive lesson from this."

"This was the worst experience we have ever had with a company in our entire life. Their motto is "Uncommon customer service." Well thank God for that. They sent a crew out on a beautiful Friday afternoon in February. The crew supervisor evidently manages via cell phone because the crew took the shingles off the roof and disappeared. We had to call the supervisor to let him know and he came out hours later and put a tarp over the house. Torrential rains moved in the next day and water poured in to the house through all windows under that section. Well I guess they had to add a restoration division to their company because of situations like this. They removed parts of walls and the crews that they hire just disrespect your house. Furniture banged up, railing banged up; and I guess they just threw down my blinds because blinds were scratched up and the wands were broken. They put my house back together but the workmanship is substandard. In the few months that we have dealt with them there have been so many people that we dealt with that are no longer with the company. It actually took them coming out more than once to get the roof right. Then the owner calls asking for money. Just a heads up:he records the phone call without informing you. Now mind you...they have yet to send a bill yet somehow I am supposed to know how much I owe them. And he is very demanding about getting paid. I have never written a poor review of a company before. We are actually very easy to please. But I urge everyone to avoid this company. They have branches all over North Alabama-just move on."
