"AAA+++ Just Fabulous! I met Pro Tech Senior Project Manager Nathan Knopp at my home after a terrible hail and wind storm struck my community on Lake Pulaski in Buffalo, MN this summer. Nathan was professional, courteous, respectful, fast, efficient and very easy to work with during the entire process of the work that Pro Tech did for us - Damage Assessment, Insurance Claim Submission / Estimate / Approval, Roof Shingle and Gutter Selection, Scheduling Work, Managing the Work Process and Follow-Thru. Nathan Knopp was very* well versed on how to best interface with our home insurance company and was able to fast track a claim to them using their own claim submission app / process. As a result, we were able to get our roof repair expedited which suited us perfectly. Pro Tech is a Platinum Partner with Owens Corning which means we were able to do a wholesale level upgrade on our shingles to TrueDefinition Duration Designer Level shingles and we decided on the Merlot pattern/color. Our materials and crew showed up as promised and the work was done fast and efficient and passed inspection with the City of Buffalo easily. With Nathan Knopp's guidance and support, we were also able to upgrade our gutter guard to a style/manufacturer that is better suited/engineered to our steep roof pitch for our designer lake home. I have to say that working with Nathan Knopp and Pro Tech was easy and very informative and my wife and I feel that we came away from this experience with not only an upgraded roof and gutters, but with a lot more understanding of how the roof and gutter system in our home works to protect our home from the elements. "Les Jones Roofing did excellent work for us. The circumstances were unusual. We hired them for a job that was beyond our abilities, but too small to interest any of the other companies we contacted: to fix a gap in our house’s fascia that could have allowed insects or rodents to nest inside. A power line connects to our house near the gap in the fascia, so Les Jones would have to coordinate with the electric company to shut off power during the repair (a “line drop”). This coordination proved difficult for many months. On several occasions, Les Jones crews showed up on the day of the scheduled line drop, but the electric company had not shut off power, making the planned repair impossible. Nevertheless, the crews continued to do useful work when they showed up, including new tasks that we tacked on. In addition to cutting and painting the wood that they planned to use to repair the fascia, Les Jones teams fixed some small holes in our roof that our home inspector had noticed, and patched up a decorative finial on our roofline that had become damaged by snow after we’d signed the contract to fix the fascia. Throughout it all, the Les Jones representatives we dealt with in person, via email, and over the phone were consistently professional and friendly, even in very frustrating situations. Finally, the electric company came through on the scheduled day with the promised line drop, the weather cooperated, and the Les Jones crew fixed the fascia. The bill we received at the end of this unusual project was reasonable and contained no surprises. On the basis of this experience, we would definitely hire Les Jones Roofing again!"

The roof really isn't in bad shape at all, just needed some flashing replaced that hadn't been replaced when the roof was done last. Very pleased with the job that was done.
