"Wow. The job was to build a porch/deck at ground level where a brick patio was. Russell came out to look at the job and the site. I described what I was thinking and its functionality--to get the dogs out of the mud before coming in the back door, and drainage for heavy rain, and to dress up the area. We walked the site, he asked me questions, answered my questions, took measurements and left. The next day I had an estimated price, a bill of materials, and a schedule. I agreed to everything...the price was fair and the schedule fit. One question for me was what color/style of planking, Trex, I was looking for. Then I left town for two weeks. Russell began work the following Monday. It took him four full days (one day it rained, I think). I am very pleased with the final structure.
