"It was pretty rocky. At first. Several appoints made by Tri-State no one ever showed up.Crew showed up to install the Generator before the site survey and did not have necessary equipment or cooperation of Electric or gas company nor call before you dig had been notified. I called Tri-State to warn them the call before dig had never been preformed. They said they'd take care of it, did not happen until right before installation crew came back the second time. The first time they were here they could not have installed the generator even had they had all the parts because none of the utilities had been marked. Finally after about three months the Generac was installed and working. I had several questions that I could never get answered by calling Tri-State. One of the installation team had to come back a couple of weeks later to replace a damaged part and he answered all my questions. The guys who installed the Generac were great, the problem is your guys operation center and call center as far as I can see do not communicate very well. Anyway the generator has worked fine in several power outages this spring. I am happy right now but I live in dread something goes wrong and I have to call Tri-State for help."

"Mr. Jim Gorman who is the owner of the business called me back within a half hour of my email posting. He visited my home 3 days later, inspected things, and told me what the approximate cost would be. He and his helper then installed an entire lightning protection system on both my house and a back garage/storage area. He did things exactly as I wanted in every way. Also threw in a free weathervane which increased the beauty of my home. I would have no objection to recommending this gentleman and his company to anyone who is in need of a competently installed lightning protection system for their home/property. MID-AMERICA LIGHTNING RODS is one fine company run by a man who cares about doing good work according to the latest safety codes etc. Having lost my previous retirement home to lightning, it was very important to me to get this job done and quickly because the thunderstorm season is upon us and with the climate change, those storms are very wicked, especially here out in the country where i live!"

"I wrote a review back in 2012 when Steve got my generator up and running after sitting idle for an undetermined time of at least four years. He has serviced my generator every 6-12 months ever since and I have always been pleased. After a recent outage when the generator did not engage, I was able to do a self-inspection based on information Steve has taught me over the years. I found that the battery was not making positive connection and once that was corrected, the generator fired right up. I also noticed that the battery was nearly five years old and being a standard lead-acid battery, I knew its life was short. I let Steve know of the situation, and he agreed the battery needed to be replaced. I also told him that I have been unemployed for a time as I am trying to start my own business. He was gracious enough to do what he could to keep costs down. Based on our experience, my wife and I will not have a house without a generator and if we stay within the area, Steve will be the one who installs and/or services our equipment."
