"I had Cristian Tree Service come and quote to remove a very large but sick Red Oak tree from my front garden. They came and gave a quote later that same day, which was very competitively priced. I accepted the quotation on the spot and the very next day they came and removed the tree. Everything was done so perfectly and the clean up afterwards was amazing, you would never know such a large tree was taken down the place was left spotless. "Do NOT hire this company! Price kept changing. Nothing in writing. No confirmation about when the job would be completed. When confirmed the price day of the job I was told $1000 and I paid that because much of the work agreed upon was not completed. Later Jose started calling me and threatening me saying I still owed $1000. I spoke to him and let him know the job was not completed and I paid what was asked. Jose originally quoted $1650 but then went to $2000 to clear brush on property. This wasn?t completed and branches kept falling loudly on the house during the job. He said I owed $650. I explained the job wasn?t done and asked why nothing was in writing. Then he started cussing at me over the phone while I had my daughter in the car. He threatened to put a lean on my house if I didn?t pay $1000. So the $650 went up to $1000. My daughter was very scared. I told him to stop talking and see me in the morning. I gave him the additional $1000 cash and he provided no receipt or invoice."
