"Local company. Recommended by both neighbors, with one getting their roof done the previous month. Original roof, and coming up on 25+ years of wear. We started to get ceiling leaks. Savaras was quick to answer the call. They scheduled a visit within the first week. I knew and they knew it would be a complete re-roofing. They gave me a detailed estimate, and responded promptly whenever I called or emailed for questions. I also had a couple other companies give me estimates. When it came down to Svaras and one other competitor (both on Angi with 4-stars and 25+ reviews, I exchanged estimates with them and asked what they liked & didn't like. Svaras gave me the most honest opinion. That and their cost was significantly cheaper. The materials they used were the same for all other competitors. Not much else to say there. The job was executed less than 2 weeks after signing the contract. They did it in one day. Again this is a 2-story house with an attached 3-car garage. The crew was all said to be local. I have security cameras around the perimeter. With all the footage, and me peeking out from the house, they worked hard. All day, with a lunch in between. Cleanup is the only area I can't necessarily give a perfect 5/5. I am certain they did a good job for the most part. They laid tarps to collect all disposal. And they brought a 7x14 trailer to throw it all in. It was on the contract they would magnetically sweep for nails daily. There were still plenty of nails that I can see with the naked eye on the driveway and deck. Since it was a 1-day job, my mind thinks it wasn't the best sweeping because it would have happened at night. It would have been exceptional to see a followup sweep the next day. Total Cost: $10-$13k"

"This is the second time I have used Lake Point roofing, and again I am very happy with the entire process. Derek came out and helped me understand better my attic's need for ventilation after another company had tried to sell me much more than I needed. I had not expected to go with a solar fan, which costs more than an electric one, bit he explained that it would save on electricity, was eligible for a tax credit, and was much quieter--which means a lot since it is just above a bedroom. I greatly appreciate the way he took the time to evaluate and explain my house's individual needs, and actually warned me away from doing work I didn't need. The work itself was well done, and I know from past experience that if I ever have a problem they will be right back to resolve it. The fan is already making a big difference in the temperature upstairs. Even with excellent insulation, I always needed to keep the house colder than necessary downstairs to keep the 2nd floor from being too hot. Now the temperature is even throughout the house. I would recommend Lake Point Roofing to anyone and I will turn to them again when it is time to replace the roof. <br />"

"Casey came on time (although a little early) on his first visit. He did a thorough inspection of the roof , first with me from the ground, and then he climbed to the roof for a closer look. He also checked my attic. He gave me what repairs are needed (renail some lifted shingles and replace ridge vent shingles) and gave me a quote later that day. Casey was accessible by email or phone for any further questions. On the scheduled day of work, he dropped off materials and gave instructions to his roofers. He stopped by the next morning, climbed up the roof to inspect the completed work to make sure nothing was missed and removed the garbage bag of replaced shingles. Overall, Casey was very polite and answered any questions I had. He was also thorough with his inspections. The work was on the expensive side but I felt that it was worth it based on the quality and the service and advice provided. I will be calling him again for roof inspection and roof replacement."

"We hired Holda Construction for a full siding replacement project after doing quite a bit of research and reaching out to a number of different contractors. Mariusz was very professional, responsive and explained our options very clearly. I believe Holda Construction provides a fair cost for the quality of work provided & customer service. The payment terms were fair and better than some others we had reached out to. The project was started & completed on the agreed-upon timeline and within the agreed pricing. You could tell the workers cared about what they were doing & explained things as they were doing the work. I had a number of different questions as they progressed and either Mariusz or the workers would answer them. The workers cleaned up at the end of every day and at the end of the project. We were very pleased with Mariusz and his team and would recommend him. When it comes time to replace our roof we will definitely be reaching out to Mariusz."

Andy the owner came to do the estimate and I also met him at their Wheeling, IL location. Adam was my main contact for the project and I can only say good things about his responsiveness and patience with my questions and requests. "The owner John, worked with the insurance estimator and provided me a detailed estimate after discussions with the insurance company, I decided to go ahead with W. Brothers Roofing. They delivered the supplies on time and arrived at 7AM as agreed on. They completed all the roof replacement in one day and cleaned up all the waste materials when finished. They returned two days later to replace all the gutters and the window shielding. The workers were great answering any questions I had and the on-site foreman Rob did a great job keeping me informed as to the flow and status of the work. I am extremely satisfied with the job done."

"The inspection was completed quickly and on time.  Joe determined that the siding was fine and no repairs were needed or should be attempted. <br /> Joe called me and advised to not make any repairs as it would most likely cause more problems. <br /> Thrifty Nickel Handyman and Roofing was very reputable and honest.  Since they did not do any work, they did not even take payment for the service call or inspection. <br /> I can not say enough good things about this service provider.  I must recommend them for other members if they need siding or roofing services.  Great to find a highly reputable service provider with integrity wanting to provide the ulitmate "best possible service". <br />"

"Spandikow was very quick to respond to my email requesting a quote for a new roof. We ended up going with him because of his responsiveness and price. We put the deposit on a credit card, and there is an additional 3% fee for that, which he explained to us. There was a bit of miscommunication regarding the start date of the work, but he was apologetic and rescheduled us very quickly. His crew was on time, professional and cleaned up everything. They tore off our old roof and did our new roof in one day, which we were really impressed by! Would definitely recommend."
