Upon noticing a major issue with the meter, which was causing a fire hazard, Mike cancelled his other appt for the day and hustled to get the parts needed for the replacement. Due to the severity of the issue, the utility company insisted on cutting power immediately (and unexpectedly) until the work was completed and a full inspection could be carried out. Mike worked to fix the meter after travelling to get the parts in the same afternoon (cancelling his other appts). He then promptly applied for the inspection with town hall at 9am the next day and waited at my house for the inspector to show up. While waiting he repaired a high hat in my kitchen. Once the inspection was passed, the utility company promptly came within the hour to turn the power back on. Although losing power was an inconvenience, Mike was there every step of the way to ensure the outage was kept to a minimum and explaining the process along the way.
