Trevor and his team walked me through the process they were about to start, and answered many questions along the way. "Justin and his crew were fantastic. No issues at all. We ended up changing the tile, nearly mid-job because Justin wanted us to, "love it." He gave his professional opinion and he was right on with shape, color and style of backsplash. We should've started with his thoughts and saved us all time and hassle. He too facilitated returning special order tile we bought outside of his recommendations. We had delays due to COVID19 and tile orders, but he still checked in and got the job done as expected. "This is the second job that Riteway Concrete has done for me. Last year 2018 Mike from Riteway built a Stamped Concrete Sidewalk along side my garage. It is colored and it is beautiful. This year Riteway Concrete extended my driveway and repaired other parts of the driveway that had sunk from a poor homemade job my husband and I did years ago. Riteway Concrete did a great job! When the City Inspector got out of this truck to inspect the completed job he walked towards my driveway with a big smile on his face and said "I love it". Mike is a professional and today many people are having concrete projects completed at their homes that would not otherwise have had done but because of Riteways extremely reasonable prices homeowners are able to do these projects. Also, Mike has a great crew of workers who come back every season to work with him and that says something about Mike and how great he is to work for. I depend on reviews from Homeowners when I hire contractors so I feel obligated to do the same for others. Therefore I can guarantee you will not go wrong when you hire Riteway Concrete."

"I'll make this short, but could write a novel. From the start he was great to work with, then once work began dates kept getting pushed and pushed. the wrong garage door was installed, I had a garage door opener installed that I didn't ask for (but am glad it's there now), the service door was the wrong swing, the apron had to be redone due to being the wrong size and it didn't have a slope to it. I heard over and over that he was just the messenger to relay the information to his sub-contractors. the project was completed one month after the 'promised' completion date. Once the project was comlete I have to say that I'm happy with the finished product, just the process was VERY frustrating. That's the short version...take it for what you will."

"They were in and out in 1 day :). looked amazing, they always kept my yard neat (not cluttered with tools laying around everywhere). Always were very professional. there are 100 good things I could say about these guys. I'm absolutely using them for any concrete work I need done in the future. (Maybe a stamped and colored patio :0) my neighbors loved the look of our driveway and the speed that they got it done so much that both neighbors had their driveways done in concrete by the same crew."

"Upon the completion of the project, I eagerly gave Tom and ACT Landscaping a very good review. I was happy overall with the finished project and Tom?s communication skills. Unfortunately, I am going to have to revise my review due to his lack of communication AFTER the project was completed and my review was already submitted.

During the project, Tom was always reachable and he responded timely to my concerns whether it was through text, email or phone. After the project was completed, it became almost impossible to get him to respond and take action to solve an unexpected erosion issue. The warranty clearly states that they will repair any patio as a result of normal wear and tear for a period of one year.

After only four months, one corner of the patio eroded to expose the edging and stakes. The first time, Tom sent someone out to add dirt to the area. A few days later after a rainstorm, the area eroded again. I emailed Tom and asked for a more permanent solution to the erosion issue, and he replied that he was going to take care of it. I waited a good three weeks and there was no response. I emailed him again, and he said he was busy with another project and would come out the following week.

I waited another two weeks and then called him directly. There was no response so I left a voice message. I waited for him to call me back, but he didn?t. A couple days later, I left another voice message. Now, it?s been two months, and he hasn?t called, emailed or texted me. There is now snow on the ground. At this point, I don?t know if it is worth it to pursue this any further. It is a waste of my time and resources to try to get a response from this company. This project cost me thousands of dollars. Clearly, they are only responsive when they need the rest of the payment. Once the job is done, they feel they have no more reason to address concerns. After this experience, I will definitely not recommend ACT Landscaping to anyone.
